Wine. Why? Because life is hard.
You can drown in it by holding on to bad memories.
Red. Because sometimes it’s darker than the blood in your veins.
Life is cruel. You need thick skin like a cork preserving the best flavours.
Bottle. Dark enough to hide how much you have left.
Pay attention to what you have because otherwise, life will empty it for you.
Steak. It gets tough sometimes.
Prepare yourself for what’s ahead.
Rare. Because there’s too much noise in the world. It’s easy to get lost.
Life should be unfiltered. Focus on what really matters.
Fries. With the skin on, because life can be misleading.
Accept the world around you and revel in the taste of reality.
Dessert. Because the good things matter.
Embrace life and enjoy the little things.
Cake. Homemade because we all need a little love.
Pursue what makes you happy and surround yourself with people who care.
Company. Because life is better when you share it.
We’re all human, and we need each other.

I can imagine the Baileys reciting this as they usher families into their new homes in Bailey Park.
