The Broken Promise

A Love Story that Wasn't Meant to Be

Once upon a time, we were two hearts entwined

Bound by love, our souls intertwined

A promise made, to never leave each other's side

A vow to stay, through life's tumultuous ride

But time played a cruel game, and fate intervened

And our love, like a flower, slowly withered and leaned

The passion faded, the flames died

And the love that we shared, slowly subsided

Tears were shed, hearts were broken

Promises forgotten, words unspoken

The love that once bloomed, now lies in ruins

A love story that wasn't meant to continue

The memories remain, like a painful ache

Of a love that once burned bright, now turned to fake

The promises we made, now left unfulfilled

A love that was once strong, now forever stilled

The broken promise of a love that died

A story that once soared, now forever tied

To the memories we shared, and the love we lost

A painful reminder of a love, now forever tossed.
