Teardrops...

Poetry

By waqar jameelPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I saw you dancing under the Scorpio moon,

Hoping you would let my Cancer in too.

The fire I gaze, burning in your eyes,

Lightened up then burnt my haunted nights.

With my Sun I invaded your space,

Not knowing it's your exaltation phase.

The single teardrop falling from your eye,

Flooded my Mars harder than a high tide.

If you once let your guard down,

I'll swim with sharks to reach your town.

I know I've got demons in me,

But no one could give you what you need.

I'll save my life to give you a crown,

You're slipping from me and I don't know how.

Take me back because I wanna stay,

I can't see your tears fall for another day...
