surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.

My fellow classmates and I all decided to get together over the weekend and discuss our prank. Of course we had to brainstorm a few ideas. Look back at all of the past pranks and analyze what made them so great and what we can do to make ours even better. Now obviously there are pranks that you can do but there will be major consequences for it. One of those consequences being the school withholding us from graduating. And we do not want that so any of those options that get thrown on the table, are out of the question.

The next day comes and me and Mom go to the formal shop. The ladies and they were super nice and attentive to the details I was telling them. Aa soon as she said she was going to get a red dress and that I should go for all black with red suspenders and a bow tie and if I wanted to, some red sparkly shoes. I told the ladies and they got me right. Fitted me up and everything. And it didn't cost that much. They said it would take about a week for everything to get hemmed up to perfection.

But that's out of the picture. We would get in so much trouble for that. That doesn't even sound like an amusing prank. Thinking about all the damage that could be done, I'd rather not. We all took a vote on what we thought was the best and it was pretty much everybody against those three. So our original prank was set in stone and was going to be acted out in a few nights. I don't know what gave them the crazy idea to even think that we could just flood the school and just get away with it.

We waited for a week and I'll tell you, that week felt like a month. I was just so excited because I look so good in my suit. And when I get a fresh haircut I'll probably be the cleanest out there. And I have one of the finest dates. Oh yeah, I'm going to pop out and have necks turning left and right. I think it's going to be a night to remember. We're definitely going to take a lot of pictures and have some stories that I might tell my kids one day when they go to formal.
