surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Thought That You Should Know
In my bonesI feel the weight of every sighIn my bonesWeep with you, every time you cryIn my bonesI want to save you from the stormAnd I just thought that you might like to know *To the coreI know the struggles of the dayTo my coreThe biting words that people sayTo my coreI want to wash it all awayAnd I just thought that you would like to know *That - although it’s hard to see, there’s a lesson here, for freeI’ve been there, and this darkness ain’t the endThere comes a moment, and you’ll know it, when you’ve finally had enough The light calling to you, will not be pushed away*Hang on thereYou have just about arrivedHang on thereYou will do way more, than surviveHang on thereYou are about to start your lifeAnd I know that these are things, that you now know

A Poet's Plight
The poet has no choice, but to write down every word - dripping, bleeding, oozing from the heart, in waves of blue. No force against it stands when they declare, debate, demand, emotion wins the war, when waged with weeping words. Some have tried to hold them back, stop the raging, roaring track- with fragile trains made out of brokenness and pain. But very few have found success, much less, write of happiness, until the price for hurt, is called out by its name. So, show some mercy for the ones, writing till the morning sun, releasing strong emotions, back into the void. Sharing another lover's scar, saving the next fragmented heart - from the emptiness of the broken and destroyed
