These Memories
I have spent more time thinking about this, more than I can possibly explain. Not because I didn’t know what I wanted to say, but because every time I tried to put my feelings into words, they seemed too small for what I carry in my heart. I would start with one sentence, then stop. I would write a paragraph, then stare at it for a while, realizing it barely scratched the surface. I would think of a memory, smile, and suddenly find myself overwhelmed by all the things I wished I could tell you.
