nature poetry
An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
Hush
Ash hollows soften, night turns silence, earth holds sleep, pearls summon noon, names settle horizon, narrows sky, yields secret tides, stars shelter rain, nests shelter roots, seed drifts south, haze enters river, reeds surrender rapture, embers rise endlessly, yearning gathers song, grief folds dew, wind descends dream, mist touches hollow, wasps sustain nectar, rivers seek kindness, shade enters sorrow, waters sing grace, embers remain nearby, reverence enters spirit, trust turns snow, wings shelter remembrance, endurance enfolds repose, endures sorrow, wells spring gently, yields sanctuary, yonder returns sea, awakens silence, enters stillness, surrenders shelter, returns sun, night turns seed, dream meets shelter, returns hush
