Say It Again Sam
" I love the rain - it washes memories off the sidewalk of life." Woody Allen play it again Sam. . . falling in love with my love. . . wishing she would say yes on the first date, falling in lust with my first wife, Irish lady. . . . role playing with BDSM, being daddy. . . . having the police come, pulling guns . . . explaining that we were just having fun. . . .

Fingertips
We sat there 'til the golden light made way to silver beams. New moon kept its promises, brought about a change. We drank tea and silence made a home between us. No more thoughts needed to be voiced. Cooled down tea and slowly fading light our only reminders of time. The words ended, the heartbeats slowed down, yet our gazes avoided the door. Shoulders relaxed, jaws trembled unwillingly, gratitude seeped in through the cracks. And maybe. Just maybe we hoped for a miracle. One we knew would never come. Holding on to yesterday was easier than facing the truth. Just for one more moment. Our palms slowly separated, lingering for an instant. Fingertips said their final goodbyes. Your eyes fixed on my lips, mine glued to yours. Heart I knew so well turned back to being just another passer on the street of life.

THE LITTLE GOLD RING
THE LITTLE GOLD RING My mam and dad bought me a child’s gold ring when I was one, They had no savings, so I know it must have been hard for them, It sat upon a shelf inside our living room for years, I don’t think I ever wore it, but it was bought with love and care.
