heartbreak

They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.

Broken Tree
Stand still please, look and see, the magic, and wonder of my broken knee. ... Did I say knee, I meant to say tree. Its rings, a gateway to its soul.

I feel threatened by the darkness and evil!
Here I am, trying to understand my life. I have a lot on my mind. I'm feeling melancholy, as usual. Dark thoughts are weighing me down.

Her.
In the quiet dusk of evening's glow, Where shadows dance and breezes flow, A heart beats softly, slow and still, Caught in the love that wounds and kills.

When Brothers Raise Arms
(Pro-War) Our freedom's banner must be unfurled! (Anti-War) Brother, why deepen scars upon our world? The tyrant denies our sacred rights, Sending our young to fierce internal fights, their sacrifices scar my soul this night.

Deep Blue
They say she is of the deep blue. For an ocean lies within her heart; a vast depth of the beautiful, dark, mysterious unknown. A world of insight in which you will never truly come to know or understand. It is much too large and undefined, because she'll either push you afloat gently with her grace or crush you with empowering waves of deceit.
