Long Weekend
It’s not uncommon to get some snow in October where I’m from, images pass our window as the rose colour sets in. It’s impossible passing by to see inside, impossible not to stare, you can’t help but admire its briefness. I avoid turkey too and everything else that separates dark from light. Sunflower hang their heads, the birds hang around just a little longer, the last day of the long weekend not much to say.

Buying food for one is a sure endeavor The customers are always satisfied Although, I can see the back inside wall of the fridge all too well It’s not quantity It’s quality It’s efficiency with food

Just like you
I’m buried in the silence, of all these twisted vices. White wine, white lies, white sheets. Remember what we used to be? And just like you, I’m just like you. When the lights go out— I used to lose myself for hours. No consequence. Never scared of fire, hands all in my flames, burning off your fingertips, saying my name.
