Sunrise Song

Serenity Satisfies

Creamed baritone

calls me from edges of slumber

and waits…

is insistent…

has already made plans

all of them suave and melodious

that may

or may not

breach a non-disclosure clause

for drycleaning bills probable

usage of ivory satins

and iridescent silks

that wrap in reams

encircle and intertwine throughout my dreams

in total disregard

of manufacturer guidelines

choosing instead tender seclusion

to explore the smoothest parts of us

in side-by-side comparison

Only in sleep

can fears be submerged this deep

Exposure

the soft shy cover of velvet silence

that secured its mark

and wouldn’t let go

Connections

effortless now that easy is everywhere

In sumptuous strategy

union is sealed then celebrated

We slide secrets over soul

prepared potions

to stay mind-wanderlust

as aphrodisiacs mend us whole

Reverberate the message

inner being urgent plea

on silken rests beneath the staff

a song of

Please

oh please

wake up to me

This is incredibly sexy without being vulgar. I loved every word of it, but my favorite bit was: Only in sleep can fears be submerged this deep 🤩
