Stuck in the Mud

A woman went hiking and got stuck in the mud.

She realized she was sinking when she heard a loud thud.

She looked down and saw her boot was trapped. She was now two feet down and was scared of how much time had lapsed.

She screamed for help but nobody could hear her.

She was in the middle of the forest, her screaming chasing away anything she could lure.

She was there for several days, not saying a word.

She was dehydrated and saving her voice to be heard.

Finally some other hikers had passed, she screamed again for help.

The hikers couldn’t reach her but called the best rangers reviewed on Yelp!

The rangers got there and saw her stuck near some rose buds.

Later she’d have to shower in lots of bath suds.

They tugged and pulled her out of the mud pit, right before a massive lightning storm hit.

Her throat was so dry she could barley spit. Her huge ego also went down quite a bit.

Right after she was out of the ground, a massive lightning bolt hit the mud and it was loud.

She smiled and said she was glad she barely missed the lightning pound.

They gave her some water, and while drinking it down, she made no other sound.

She seemed alright and and everything was tight.

But to be safe, they sent her to the hospital for a fort night.

They patched up some cuts and bruises and gave her more water to drink.

Then she got nauseous and threw up in the sink.

They told her to be more observant next time she went hiking.

They told her that if the ground looks muddy to avoid it, and she won’t get stuck or struck by lighting.

She thanked the doctors a lot and took a cab to her car then drove it back home.

She then made plans to go back to her favorite hiking zone, but this time she wasn’t going alone.
