Romancing The Stone
Endless Love
Ripples tap upon the seawall
Reminding the shore how far love will go
Time after time, answering every call
Repeatedly returning, never saying no
The lap of the water, trickles like the raindrops
the longing to touch, beyond their control
Happily skipping along, over sand, reeds and rocks
Embracing the Sun, a mate to the soul
The longing pull of the moon
Romancing the swelling waves
Hearts uncontrollably swoon
Like a child needing saved
The push and the pull
Ignoring the notion
Love will never be full
Just a drop in the ocean
Romancing the stone
Fluid love, set in motion
Never being alone
True love and it’s devotion
