Fliers on billboards
Looking for our sound out there,
The guts of a year

Gear packed and loaded
Amps, drums, cables, and guitars,
A marriage of sorts
*
Perfecting our sound
On the road again, a van
For the chance to play
*
Packed tight with our gear
Searching for America
No holds barred, in bars
*
Way late for sound check
Need cigarettes and coffee
Unstoppable, yes?
*
Mics, merch, and road crew
Family, identity
Release, found on stage
*
Not knowing what’s next
Gotta get to the gig, man
Living on our terms
*
Sing what lives within
Our audience connecting,
That keeps us alive
*
There and back again
Grateful for each place to rest
Chasing that high, still
*
We lived in that van
Had the best times of our lives
Music is it, life

Peaceful Purpose
I have noticed that in the professional sphere, as far as I have noticed, that many people choose to come to work, mainly with the intention of collecting a paycheck, which I completely understand, unfortunately, we all need money to survive in this world. I also feel very strongly about the fact that if you are going to work in a profession, you should certainly treat that profession, whatever it may be, with the dignity that its purpose entails, whether you are working in the medical field, or working at a fast food restaurant, you should do you best to do the best job you can, because when it comes right down to it, we are all humans, going through the trials, and challenges that this life can bring us, by working together.
