So much to give with nowhere to go.

I've got love the size of Jupiter

blushing harder than Mars

shackled in your orbit

I'm aligned to your stars.

I want all your demons

you've been dealing with mine

your secrets, I'll keep them

and get better with time.

You've showered me with trust

I wish I could bring you the sun

I really want more

but you're doing it for fun.

Today my heart wonders if

it was ever worth stealing

since I seek out pain

when I'm not done healing.

I got the soul of a martyr

who can't seem to quit

hoping and prayer

oil and water will mix.

I'll come and talk to chairs

and pretend I'm with you

asking questions whose answers

I already knew.

Inspired by romantic struggle.
