Into the night sky she gazes
Yet she is not alone
She knows he is with her
Even if not visible.
She whispers his name softly
Hoping he hears her
Is he sound asleep
Dreaming of her?
The brightest star in the sky
Doesn’t compare to his eyes
The love she sees in them
When he looks at her.
He takes her breath away
With the slightest touch
The joy that sweeps through her
Has no equal.
Two souls who were searching
Then finally found
In each other
Their lifelong love.
He sparks life into her
And she into him
Two lives being joined by fate
Meant to be, now and always.
