I may never know truly, yet I have begun to catch a glimmer of the truth.
Perhaps one day I will more fully understand how to better hear you.
When you need someone to listen, just to listen, and not tell you what to do.
I have been so selfish in my ways, only concerned with what you can do for me.
I have been unkind, harsh, and vindictive; thinking my way was right - despite your needs.
I have and may be this again.
It is my hope to recognize these times, and be there for you as you are healing.
