LOVE AND APOLOGY
Photo by Levi Meir Clancy on Unsplash

He reminds me of Atlas

The world resting on his shoulders

Waiting for the day his knees would crush

Under the weight of the guilt in his heart

He whispers his apologies like a hymn

There's no love in staying with him

For he is burdened with the world above him..

He reminds me of Hades

Lurking in the shadows where darkness prevails

Waiting for the day

His Persephone arrives

He whispers his apologies like a hymn

There's no love in forcing her

For she is the spring.

He reminds me of Apollo

Blinded by his love

And drowning in his sorrows

Yet love can never be forced

He whispers his apologies like a hymn

And watches dear Daphne being turned into a Laurel tree.

He reminds me of cupid

Who fell for Psyche's beauty

A love so deep yet so void

Misunderstanding torn them apart

He whispers his apologies like a hymn

Where union sounds a distant dream.

Alone,

Watching the whispering sky,

Where,

Clouds wanna cry,

Alone,

Fighting with the stars,

Asking,

To be mine. ♥️♥️

Spread love❤️, spread peace !!
