Through the window

The sunlight shines

Piercing the shadows

With fragments of life

Reflecting the world

From the outside in

Creating intrigue

And curiosity within

The dancing light

Continues to spread

Reaching your body

Lying still in your bed

There's nowhere to run

No need to hide

For only hope

Travels with light

With every ray

The warmth will spread

Calming the storm

Harboured by night

Piercing the clouds

The invitation is sent

No words are said

The message is heard

Loud and clear in your head

Life waits patiently

But not forever

Filling the room

With golden beams

Lifting your spirit

Igniting your dreams

Awaiting from you

The sun in the sky

Stirring a feeling

Deep down inside

To get out of bed

It must be time

For life's love letter

A heartfelt reply
