Show up messy,

Show up unfinished,

Show up cranky,

Nervous,

Frazzled,

Listless,

We always wait until we are perfect,

Until we have the right credentials,

The time is just right,

Until we have had all the training,

The tick boxes we believe make ourselves worthy of being witnessed,

The right lighting,

The right speech and posture training,

The right branding,

The right schedule of social media sharing,

We get tied up in how many followers we have,

The levels of engagement,

The site traffic,

The manicured finished product,

That we put it off and put it off,

And on our death bed we sit in silence and quietly exclaim,

I wish I had just showed up,

Shared my message with the world,

Asked the person I long for to stand by my side,

Taken the trip I was always meaning to,

Published the book of wisdom, an accumulation of life’s lessons,

Showed up in joy, in being more present,

Really spending quality time with those I love,

I wish, I wish, I wish.. is never enough,

So when you feel like jumping but do not quite feel ready,

When you get lost in the drama and your worries,

When you feel that times escaping you,

And the things you’ve always wanted to do feel as if they are out of range,

It is time to take action,

To throw away the insecurities,

To take a running leap,

And let yourself be witnessed,

It is show time,

Now,

Now is the time,

Just show up.
