I Hold You at Heart
A poem for Valentines
I hold you at heart. From the end to the start, we could never part. You'll be my forever heart.
Your place in my heart could never fade. You came in my heart on your own and forever stayed. No games were ever played.
I hold you at heart because you keep me together. No one could ever tell me we weren't meant to be together.
You keep me alive and I am here thanks to you. I take on life without any fear thanks to you.
I hold you at heart because you are forgiving. When I feel like giving up you inspire me to keep living.
When life's mission is to eliminate me it could never take me because you motivate me.
I hold you at heart because whenever we fight we make sure to reconcile with one another by the end of the night.
Whenever I make a mess and life leaves me stressed I look at you and remember how much I've been blessed.
I hold you at heart and thank the man up above for blessing me with a gift as amazing as your love.
I hold you at heart. You are my reason and rhyme. My love for all time...my forever Valentine.

Death is a black hole. Think about it. A black hole is the corpse of a star, something once warm and bright, now come to the end of its life cycle. But some will argue that the cycle of life does not end with death. That death is merely another path we must walk once our bodies expire and our souls ascend. In that moment, when the fuel in the star’s chemical tank hits empty and the shiny matte coat explodes into supernova, the mass left behind – the corpse – becomes a black hole. We understand that, around such a vast cadaver, dimensions work a little differently in death to the way we’re used to in life. For example, light cannot escape the pull of a black hole when it hits the point of no return. That’s where it gets its colour. Space itself is contorted by a black hole. That’s where it gets its funny shape. Even time. Time slows right down the closer you get to it. The closer you get to a black hole. The closer you get to death.
