A Song of Thankfulness

Blooms of Grace

In the heart of the city's bustling street,

Where cars and people never seem to meet,

Stands a little girl with flowers bright,

Her spirit shining like a beacon in the night.

At the red light's pause, she takes her stand,

With flowers held tight in her tiny hand,

Her smile, a ray of sunshine pure,

Despite the trials she must endure.

Sweat beads form upon her brow,

But still, she wears her joyous vow,

To offer beauty, love, and grace,

To every stranger she may face.

One day, a driver, stopped in thought,

Bought her flowers, a kindness sought,

And with them, a piece of bread he gave,

A simple gift, her spirits to save.

With gratitude, she thanked him dear,

Then skipped across the light with cheer,

To the sidewalk where she sat with glee,

Eating bread, feeling truly free.

With grateful hearts, our lives compiled,

For in simplicity, happiness does thrive,

When gratitude is what we revive.
