Flicker

Poems while you're away

I hope I flicker

From places nearly apart

A few lumens bright

My colors stretching out

Pilfering sips of your glow

I hope I flicker

In the constellation

Pinholes in the silk

The Ladle or the Ram

Flitting light upon your path

I hope I flicker

Under the stir

Above the timing

Between bared claw

Within the thrum of your chest

I hope I flicker

In the streaks through blinds

In a spiral of thoughts

Casting no divinity

Be respite.
