1

As dusk descends and stars arise,

I'm haunted by a love that lies,

In memories of our cherished past,

A love that faded all too fast.

Chorus:

Fading love's melodies, once so sweet,

Now echo with a painful beat,

Heartstrings strummed with tender care,

Now tangled in a web of despair.

Verse 2:

We danced in moonlit reverie,

A symphony of you and me,

Our souls entwined, our dreams aglow,

But time's harsh winds began to blow.

Chorus:

Fading love's melodies, now a dirge,

Aching notes, a somber urge,

Longing for the days of old,

When love's fire burned bright and bold.

Verse 3:

The whispers that once filled the air,

Now silence, heavy with despair,

The laughter that once brought delight,

Now echoes in an empty night.

Chorus:

Fading love's melodies, a mournful lament,

Yearning for a love once heaven-sent,

Hearts that once beat in perfect rhyme,

Now drift apart, lost in time.

Bridge:

Yet, amidst the tears and the pain,

A glimmer of hope still remains,

For love's embers still softly glow,

A fragile hope, a chance to sow.

Verse 4:

So, I hold onto memories dear,

And wipe away each lonely tear,

For though our love may fade away,

Its echoes linger, come what may.

Chorus:

Fading love's melodies, a poignant refrain,

A love that's lost, yet still remains,

A treasure cherished, forever mine,

A bittersweet serenade, divine.

Outro:

And so, I bid farewell, my love,

With gratitude, and blessings from above,

For in your absence, I've learned to see,

That love's true essence never fades, but sets us free.
