Eclipse
For The Vocal ACrostic Challenge
Introduction
Although the required form is acrostic, I am using an adapted butterfly cinquain (a butterfly cinquain has nine lines but "eclipse" is only seven letters, so I missed out the connecting two-syllable and the penultimate four-syllable line line)
This gives it a rough disc shape so I can do a visual version of the eclipse poem as well.
I am also ending the lines with the starting letter so it is a double acrostic.
The music is, of course, "Eclipse" the closing song from "Dark Side Of The Moon" by Pink Floyd

I like how this feels mystical and magical, like an eclipse would be to those who had no idea what was going on. Bonus points for shaping the poem's lines to mirror the moon too Mike:)
Oo! I love that it is moon shaped. How unique! Well done π
Nicely & artistically phased, Mike.
This is lovely, and great song too.
Mike, you NEVER cease to amaze

You wrote this very beautiful way, well done
I loved this, great take with the visual and double challenge
Twice as nice; I love Pink Floyd which is starting my day of challenges quite wonderfully. You always have an ecliptic take on most challenges; I bow to your lunacy.
I love it! The way you doubled the rule and the poem is acrostic at the end of the lines is amazing and creative. Well done!
Oh wow, so brilliant of you to make it a double Acrostic! I loved it!
