Dignity
Going through emotional black hole... I hope one day it will end.
Emotional pain is the worst at night.
Merciless brooding and keen insight.
Internal demons come out to play.
Excuses no longer have any say.
The answers you shun are all in your face.
Nowhere to run, you’re way behind pace.
You’re pushed to the wall — gaslighted, deceived.
There’s no time to stall — fuck all you believed.
Be loyal to none, unless they are True,
They have to make effort to prove it to you.
Your heart has been suffering cruel assault,
And all your abusers say this is your fault.
They tell you that what you have seen is not real.
You’re silenced, brainwashed, and your mouth has been sealed.
But you know better. It’s your life to live,
Your story to tell, contribution to give.
Your talents are valid — a gift from above.
You’re worthy of comfort and heavenly Love.
About the Creator
Nica Breeze
I started writing fairy-tales before I could spell the letters right, at age 6. My fiction and poetry are about one’s private world and love-hate relationship with reality.
I emigrated to America from Eastern Europe, found home in Montana.
