Why Indie and Otis Came to Love Ollie

Like most dog moms, the best part of my day is the time spent with my dogs. I have an 8 year old Pittie mix named Indie and a two year old Frenchie mix named Otis. Indie is my soul dog and the love of my life. She has inspired me to become a photographer, a business owner, and a creator, among other things. She is the smartest and most loyal creature who selflessly makes sure that I’m happy above all else. Most of the time, she knows how I’m feeling before I do. When we’re together, she’s my shadow–never more than a few inches from me at all times.

We have become travel buddies and look forward to our yearly camping trips to Oregon. This year will be her brother Otis’s first time camping with us! I know that they’re going to have the time of their lives.

My pittie is extremely picky and often “offended” when offered food that is not to her liking. She also goes through bouts of refusing food if she becomes bored or tired of the same meal. As soon as I open the refrigerator door, I instantly have two dogs at my feet licking their lips and tippy tapping their feet in anticipation. Their tails are literally wagging the entire time they are eating and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me!

The best is how much energy they have during the day, either adventuring with me or playing tug with the same toy at home. By the end of the day, they’re usually snuggled up together. They’re the first thing I see in the morning when I wake up and the last thing I see before bed, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Convenience

Let’s talk convenience! My dogs’ personalized meals are delivered directly to my door. I don’t have to worry about going to overcrowded grocery stores or what food toppers I’m going to add to their food to make sure they’re eating balanced meals. I just take their meal out of the freezer, thaw and serve! The packaged meals have been a game changer when it comes to traveling too. We go camping a few times per year and not having to bring kibble, toppers and measuring cups has significantly lessened what I have to pack. Fueling the dogs for our trips and all of the hiking and exploring we do has been immensely simplified with Ollie.

Health and Nutrition

With so many dog food brands and formulas available, it’s difficult to trust that what you’re giving your dogs is healthy and nutritious. Since starting them on Ollie, I’ve noticed that the pups have more energy, are pooping less and their coats are looking super shiny.
