I wonder can you really see me,
if you don't look me in the eye.
For this smile is only a lie,
and the pain my eyes could never hide.
I wonder can you really hear me,
if you don't listen with your heart.
My tears are falling for the warmth of your arms,
but my soul is crying for the strength in your heart.
I wonder do you really know me,
if you can't find your way inside.
For within lies the demons,
from which I haven't learnt to hide.
I wonder can you heal me,
if on the outside is where you reside.
Will you ever love me,
if my demons never die,
at least I hope you will try.
