You meet this guy and you tell him your favourite colour, your favourite kind of music, that you love the smell of roses, you also share with him secrets you never told anyone, not even your best friend, and you feel like being with him is like jumping on clouds, you feel confident in being vulnerable with him,

But that feeling of jumping on the clouds and getting goosebumps when you are with that person disappears after you come to the realisation that the feeling from him was not mutual and instead of being direct with you he chooses to love another girl and makes her feel beyond special,

You give yourself completely believing you would never go through this, he gave you the reassurance of him never looking for someone else, but you learn that even when a guy tells you not to worry so many times, even when he says to you that it is you who is his princess, he will still go ahead and be making another girl moan his name,

You then start to wonder: Did making love with me feel empty? Did he feel like he was in the deep water while being with me? Why did he cheat when he could have just told me he felt nothing for me anymore?

You hate being stuck on it, you hate being stuck on something that makes you sit in the bathtub and cry for so long while the hot water is pouring down on you,

But remember, a betrayal happens to everyone in the world, does not matter if their hearts are evil or good,

Do not allow someone's betrayal make you believe it will happen over and over again to you, because not every person has bad intentions,

And when that betrayal hits your head again, remember that your life is not over, were you not happy before getting love from someone else? What is stopping you from being happy again?

Go ahead, and let your eyes rain so much, but please do not think that you have no value,

A betrayal is not a sign to believe that you are a fool when it comes to love.
