There is Beauty in the broken, in minds unspoken, I'm waiting to be awoken and take back what was stolen. I know I'm one of the chosen ones, I've just been filled with poison, because they already know it.As I chop of these dead roots so new ones can grow in its place, I lift my head and i give him praise! On this day I lay to rest the things that kept me from being my best! On this day I VOW to take the steps to reach the heights he's set for me. ON this day I deem myself FREE!
Free from the pain and the shame. I know longer place the blame, there will be a day, a day where they will pay. Today I chose to be bold and take on my bright future, I chose to embrace the past because it didn't last I've decided to take my chance and take a stand, on the things people are afraid to bring to light. AFRAID to put up a fight.
There is beauty in the BROKEN, In minds UNSPOKEN waiting to be awoken and take back what was stolen. We are the chosen ones and I just want you to know this, YOU are as IMPORTANT as the ones who told you, you weren't. You can do anything you set your mind too. Let Me show you the way. The Bottom ISN'T where we STAY. Don't let them lead you astray, you know the way, the path you should take, so by no means, no mistake should you go the other way. To the place that is forbade.

Somewhere In The Sky
The Luminous sky is so BEAUTIFUL and filled with so much life, it's breathtaking. The sun rays shine so radiantly it's almost blinding, but feels so good on my rich melanin skin. The birds whistle and chirp so joyfully and lovely in the morning sky, its's soothing to my ears and touching to my heart.

To Give Your Last Twenty
He walks oddly, shuffling and nearly tripping down the hallway toward his apartment door. I slow my pace, allowing my neighbor— a stuffy ex-marine with one missing tooth and a strong odor of liquor and two weeks' worth of unwashed stench always accompanying him—to reach his door. I crinkle my nose, nearly gagging as he dawdles ahead.
