What I Write About
The Six Subcategories Of Sageship According To My Digital Brain Analysis

Written by a human, for humans, always.
This will be the 1,374th article that I have written in 1,374 days.
One article per day.
When you write that many articles...
You tend to touch on a lot of different subjects.
On top of this...
Ideas develop over time...
Things are written once and forgotten...
Certain ideas connect, and others do not.
Over time...
You lose track of many different things (or at least I do!).
So...
One of the platforms that I utilize just released a brand new "Digital Brain" feature.
It looked at every article I've written...
As well as every post that I have published on (most) of the platforms I am on.
It has a number of features that I am excited to utilize (including some AI features that are NOT used for writing articles - every article is written 100% by me).
With all of that data...
It categorized all of my writing into different groups.
So...
My work, overall, focuses on Sageship.
It is the evolution beyond today's failed Leadership Development models.
This work has been exceptionally well recognized...
From helping me become a Hall of Fame Leadership Coach...
To receiving multiple Honorary Doctorate Degrees (On top of earned Doctorates)...
To being featured on Times Square, New York...
And allowing me to become a United Nations Representative, advising on topics of Leadership and Psychophysiology.
With all that being said...
Sageship is, inherently, a complex topic that is extracted from complex biological systems and how they work, not in theory, but in reality.
So...
In my daily articles, I have written on a wide variety of topics under the category of Sageship.
My new Digital Brain broke it into six specific subcategories.
What are they?
The first subcategory is...
Career & Growth.
Most of my writing is directed toward Executive Sageship...
Which is Sageship in the context of work.
Sometimes I go into other subjects, because there is truly no such thing as "work life" and "home life"...
There is only life.
But because I work with executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs, that is the majority of where my writing is focused.
In Sageship...
Work is an essential part of life...
Not something that you just do "to live".
Most people have a very unhealthy relationship with their work.
I often discuss in my writing how to change this...
And how to actually unleash your potential as a leader and grow into a Sage...
Someone who is recognized as being the best in their field, filled with wisdom.
That is easier said than done...
But it is a large focus in my work.
The second subcategory is...
Thinking & Decision Making.
Look...
Most leaders believe they are great at making decisions...
But the statistics do not lie.
Over 50% of the workforce would trust a "complete stranger" over their current leaders.
Most organizations are living in a leadership deficit today, and know it.
Leaders are trying to make progress forward...
But everything seems to either create mediocre results...
Or worse...
Negative Productivity.
Then...
There is the fact that over 80% of the workforce is currently in Burnout...
Where humans, based on scientific research, drop to 5% or less of our productivity potential...
Assuming, again, that they are not working in Negative Productivity...
And the trends are currently expected to get worse.
Plus...
Most leaders who "appear" to have success...
Actually fail to understand "why" they are successful...
And eventually that comes back to bite them when they cannot successfully replicate their former "successes"...
Leaving them unable to make a comeback.
If you want to overcome this problem...
You must think differently...
You must make different types of decisions.
But it is not "just" about thinking and decisions...
Because this falls into what I call the "Brain Trap"...
Where we falsely believe that our Brains are what controls everything...
Which brings us to what is next.
The third subcategory is...
Health & Psychophysiology.
Our brains are powerful...
If...
They are used correctly...
And...
They are aligned with the rest of our psychophysiology.
That is what I call a "Wayset," which is vastly more powerful and useful than a "Mindset".
The problem?
Most leaders are absolutely clueless as to how their psychophysiology works...
How the psychophysiology of their workforce plays out...
How the direct interaction of our psychophysiologies creates different types of results...
And how most of the thinking and decisions leaders make "negatively" impact human psychophysiology.
Worse...
They fail to see how broken their workforce's psychophysiology already is...
And what is actually needed to repair it.
Let's go back to Burnout...
In Burnout, an individual's productivity potential drops to 5% or less...
And it frequently does go into negative productivity.
Worse...
When you put a bunch of people into a room together...
Their neurocardiology begins to take effect...
And when people do not understand how their neurocardiology works...
This will lead to Group Burnout...
Where larger swathes of employees are physiologically dragged into Burnout with others...
And it becomes vastly more difficult for "everyone" to escape Burnout.
Then...
We have to look at what it takes to actually get out of Burnout.
If we look at an individual level...
Without taking into account the Group Burnout dynamics...
It takes a "minimum" of 3 weeks to fully recover from light Burnout...
If you are recovering correctly, which most people do not...
And...
In more extreme cases of Burnout...
It can take "over" a year to fully recover.
So...
If you are a leader who is actively making decisions that are dragging people into Group Burnout...
As most leaders are, considering that "over" 80% of the workforce is in Burnout...
Then you are actively making the average Productivity Potential of your workforce 5% or less...
Most likely pushing it into Negative Productivity...
And if you do not change...
Then it will take the "entire" workforce over a year to fully recover.
That is the psychophysiological reality of today's workforce...
At an "extremely" high-level overview.
Some of my articles go into deeper subjects, such as the Four Cognition Systems and how these different systems interplay with each other.
But Health and Psychophysiology are a gigantic aspect of what makes Sageship so effective.
The fourth subcategory is...
Habits & Systems.
What most people fail to understand...
Is that it is what they "do" on a day-to-day basis...
Driven by the systems they create...
Which develop the outcomes they attain.
Most people's outcomes...
Are mediocre at best...
And extremely detrimental on average.
So, I also frequently write about Habits and Systems to turn this around.
What many people fail to understand...
Is that their bodies optimize their energy (Mg-ATP) to get certain results.
But...
Our bodies need to be guided toward the results we want...
What I call designing a Wayset.
When our psychophysiology is aligned...
Every part of our bodies is pointed toward the same habits...
And our workforces are being utilized effectively within the systems we create...
We can achieve exponential results and innovation.
But...
Most organizations are not designed like this...
And they waste so much potential, energy (Mg-ATP), and resources in the process.
This is why I write about this topic frequently.
Our habits and systems determine our future...
And most people's futures are bleak.
The fifth subcategory is...
Ethics & Society.
A large area of focus is Sageship is the responsibilities of leaders.
What are their responsibilities to their employees?
To their customers?
To their suppliers?
To their communities?
To the larger ecosystems they exist within?
What many people fail to understand...
Is that businesses both shape and are shaped by ethics and the societies around them.
This can be a good thing...
Or a terrible thing.
I have talked about "Machine Businesses" and "Zombie Businesses" in my work, which are fundamentally flawed...
Because they fail to understand how their organizations interact from an ethics and societal perspective.
Some larger businesses take for granted that their successes allow them to not be beholden to things such as this...
And that is a deep mistake that they pay for...
Sometimes not immediately...
But the longer these problems exist...
The more catastrophic it ends up becoming for businesses.
However...
If we build what I have termed "Regenerative Legacy Design" Business Models...
We can use ethics and society to our advantage...
Both contributing positively to the world around us...
While simultaneously ensuring our success today and long into the future.
Importantly...
This is not "high-level theory" that I am talking about...
It is a business model that has been verified in real-world businesses.
When you are serious about understanding your role from an Ethical and Societal perspective in the category of Sageship...
It completely redefines businesses in extremely positive ways...
That not only reflects in monetary success (which is important in business)...
But further reflects in all areas of psychophysiological success...
Opening up greater resource utilization and capacity to gain exponential innovation that is driven at every level of an organization.
Which brings us to our final area of writing...
The sixth subcategory is...
Relationships & Interdependence.
Look...
We are humans.
That means that an "essential" aspect of our wellbeing and success...
Is driven by relationships...
Period.
We are, inherently, interdependent.
Our success "requires" others' successes.
Their successes "require" our success.
An individual can do very little alone.
But...
When we are working together optimally...
We become vastly more effective...
Able to accomplish exponentially more than anyone could hope to accomplish alone.
That is...
"If"...
We are working together optimally.
But the vast majority of the time...
We do not.
Part of that has to do with our Vitality Intelligence (VQ), which directly impacts both IQ (Cognitive Intelligence) and EQ/EI (Emotional Intelligence)...
Which is more covered under previous subcategories...
But there are many ways to improve our relationships.
It really does start with our relationship to ourselves.
Our Identities...
With 10 categories, each with multiple individual identities, which can be classified as a mix of "Important", "Transient", "Shallow", "Core", "Reactional Shadows", "Conditional Masks", and "Societal Expectations" that fall into different categories.
Our values...
Meaning what we actually "live" and not what we "claim" are our values.
These create the base for how we interact with others...
And whether we have successful relationships or not.
When we combine these different subcategories together...
We begin to gain insights into what Sageship actually means...
Not as a theory...
But as practical wisdom and goals in a meaningful and flourishing life.
This is what Sageship is about.
So...
If this is the type of writing that excites you...
I would recommend continuing to read my daily articles on Sageship!
I have written 1,374 articles...
But there are many more articles yet to write for you.
