Turning point is actaully a poem but not by traditonal sense. It was inspired by a coversation with a friend of mine who has been stuck in a mindset of why things cant happen vs why they can. Her current circumstances have kept her in a state of not being able to see ahead and only concentrate on how life currently is versus how it can be. This way of thiking is exteemly common and in many ways follows a path of being realisitc. In order to change your reality you have to start thinking in terms of what you want regarless of where you are at and have conviction it can be done even if you dont have the slightest clue how. This is a huge leap for the majority because without all the answers up front it seems like foolish daydreaming. I aksed her so how will the answers come to you if you dont beleive you can change your situation? She looked at me kind of puzzled and didnt know what to say. The answer is they wont becasue you have already decided to stay stuck. The turning point comes when you stop living in the past and start beleiving in what lies ahead. You must decide exactly what you want and realize it does not matter how it will be done only that you know it will be done. That is the first step and the most important one you can take becasue it will set thigns into motion. Step two is to go into action without any answers but have faith they will come to you as you walk the path toward your dream, goal, or dersire.

Harmony between lessons from the past and moving forward

A pull always resides from past experience just ended

Relationships, comfort, the known, all built over time

Memories of good times with disregard for the reason

One had to move on….

Now it might feel good for a momentary lapse

Your mind wants to return to familiarity

Because that is the program you have been running

Equanimity between the known and the unkown

The balance between what was and your future

Where the heart wants what it had

Even though it is gone and what it really wants lies ahead

Every step forward leads toward that destination

Nothing but a lesson is left behind so use the

Lesson to make adjustments and look within

Each time you think of the past your are not living in the present

Stop wasting time on what was or what could have been

Surrender the neediness and step forth into your courage

Overturn the falsities and embrace the truth

Nothing will be gained by lying to yourself

Serving that premise will only lead to pain

Further distancing you from what is waiting ahead

Remember the feeling is what you desire

One must reset, reflect, and re-emerge with a

Mindset directed toward where your are and where you want to go

The fruit of the lesson will not be yielded by

Holding on to an equation that does not work

Everything is being done for you to teach and

Pass on knowledge to be applied going forward

A test cannot be passed with the same wrong answers

Shut the door behind and a new one will open

The fear of the unknown rescinds and

An excitement about what lies ahead emerges

New beginnings always follow an end

Doubt fades away and a new found confidence takes hold

Moving forward is hard but the path behind

Values only what is already known

Is that really what you want…

Navigating around growth and new discoveries

Giving credence to familiarity over something new

Fear and acceptance court “changes” attention

One will win out over the other

Resigning you to an unfulfilled state or moving ahead in life

With a new found attitude

A path is waiting to be cut with all the knowledge and experience gained

Residing right under your feet the time has come to take the initial step

Discover how strong you really are with he first one
