We All Have To Believe in Something, Don't We?!
Never in my life did I ever expect to find myself in the state of Arizona, especially being a girl from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I've always had a kindred spirit and a yearning to travel, but little time or resources to do so. Therefore, I have not embarked much further from the City of Brotherly Love except for an impromptu trip to North Carolina a few years ago and my family adventures into New York City and the Jersey Shore when I was younger. So when my fiance and I radically decided to jump on my first ever plane ride to Arizona with only a day's notice, I didn't think the people there would quite "get" me. That flight led us to the quaint, yet whimsical town of Bisbee. See, I describe myself as "a little hippy, a little hood". I am from Philly after all, so that's where the "hood" part of me comes from. The "hippy" part, I'm told it's in my soul. I am a horse of a different color, so to say, no doubt about that!

Treat failure like Thomas Edison
For some reason, we are condition to avoid failure as if it was something to be feared. This fear often paralyzes us in our attempt to achieve our goals. This irrational fear can be the obstacle between our current reality and our most wanted dreams.

Bouncing Back
Feel your feelings You can start by telling yourself, “I’m angry and that’s okay. All feelings are valid. I’m not defined by my feelings.” Your feelings at this moment don’t dictate your entire life and certainly don’t dictate your future. Feelings tell you where your boundaries are. Whether you need more sleep, to shift your thoughts, or even shift your life path. Your feelings are often helpful tools for redirection of attention.

Are You a True Leader?
"Leader" is a fundamental figure for leading a team, but he is also a role for which not everyone is suited. It is not just about telling someone what to do, but it is about leading a group towards a common goal, properly harnessing each member's skills and efforts without trying to manage or manipulate them.

Great Acts
7 years ago, things were hard, I mean REALLY hard. The company I had been working for demoted me to a different department. This also meant I took a paycut, and it was a harsh blow. The worst time of year for it to take place, Christmas. I had bills, lot's and lot's of them. How on earth was I even going to pay for Christmas that year? I told my parents, and since they were both on disability. There just wasn't a way for them to help me, but they did tell me not to get them anything that year. At 32 years old, how did I get to this place in my life? Why did I allow something like this to happen?

Book Review - 'Greenlights' by Matthew McConaughey
In a year of ‘red lights’, it’s been both enlightening and refreshing to read a book by a man who has spent his first fifty years on the planet chasing ‘greenlights.’ That phrase of catching ‘greenlights’ is also the formal title of Matthew McConaughey’s memoir / autobiography / personal growth tale that draws the reader in. I first heard about Mr. McConaughey’s book when he appeared on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’, Joe Rogan’s popular podcast. Mr. Rogan coined the book as being ‘whiskey philosophy’ with McConaughey being the philosopher over a glass of whiskey.

Questions About My Future
My BIGGEST concern for my future would be: My Brain. 2.5 Years ago now, I had an accident at work. I cracked my head off of a wooden shelving unit, and then back onto the cement floor. I wasn't found until 6 hours later, and a few more EXCRUCIATING hours later, I was diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury brought on by a Severe Concussion.

Make Every Day Count
Make Ever Day Count What is the meaning of life? A question we all ask and face until death knocks on our door. But I have found that asking that question leads to nothing but anguish and a quest for perfection in life that isn’t there. I do tell myself that I am a Stoic, but not to the grand level of those such as Marcus Aurelius and Seneca. Or maybe I am? Much of what they say has become common sense in the modern world, while other wise words from them have not.

10 Quotes To Ignite Your Self Belief
That time of the year has come for me to step back from my daily detailed blog entries, to spend the next few weeks having some more quality time with my family. It is the time of the year we should all be focusing on spending some quality time with our families, relishing in the time we have with them, and be creating some wonderful, long lasting memories together. Christmas is always a special time of the year, and I personally have some very fond and cherished memories of Christmas's gone by, especially from my younger days. We should never take for granted these times with our family, because there always comes a time where our loved ones are no longer around to celebrate with, or our circumstances change, so enjoy every moment with them this festive season, and remind them of how much you truly love them. Over the next few weeks, I look forward to sharing with you, a variety of different motivational and inspirational quotes, in place of my daily blog entries, just to keep that momentum of encouragement and support going, to help continue driving you to achieving your goals, and creating a future blessed with happiness, success and prosperity. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has engaged in my blog entries throughout the year, whether that be liking a post, sharing a post, or even just having read a post. I am truly grateful and appreciative of your support, your feedback, and your engagement, throughout the past year. From myself, and my family, to you and your family, I want to wish you a safe and wonderful Christmas, followed by a prosperous, healthy, successful, and happy 2021. Take care, stay safe, and never stop striving to achieve your goals, and revealing your true potential.
