Honesty: Why It's the Direct Way To Win & Be Fulfilled
Are you honest? Do you consider yourself to be an honest person? Not just to others, but to yourself? When I used to date, I realized how many people are very comfortable being dishonest. To themselves and to others.

Don't Look Back
Long before life was crazy with the now issues at hand, we, the people of the world, were working daily to create a life that was better than our parents. We worked long hours to put food on the table, clothes on our families back and provided more than just the necessities, for working hard should have meant to live at least a little. But the key thing is that we worked hard to accomplish whatever goals we had in mind. The ability to push the envelope, to develop a thing that was never developed, to create a thing that was never created, did not start last year. It has been the one thing that drove mankind to develop the things that are created today. We have always longed to have better, so one day someone created better and so on and so forth. This one thing that ties together all people who are writers, producers, authors, bloggers etc. alike is that we create. We create to become what was not and create to be what is. We do this not for show or for the pride of it, no, our hearts bleed creation. We live our lives in hopes that we can create the thing that someone did not know they needed, but now that they found it, they cannot live without it. We are creators.

Why Not Becoming a Rock Star Saved My Career
When I wore a younger man's clothes, the term success had so much meaning and connotation -- at the time, it meant being a highly paid, regularly applauded and selling lots of CDs as a professional rock star. Success was being a successful rock star, lauded and adored -- critically acclaimed. All the hard work and practice, lugging in equipment, playing dirtball bars and clubs -- well, that was just part of the ladder climb. But, I was also realistic and made certain plan B existed in the unlikely event I didn't become the next Bon Jovi.

The 6 blogging goals I want to reach in 2021.
It's January. It's the goal-setting month. I published a post on my 2021 resolutions last week, you can read it here. But I mentioned that I would write a post just focusing on my blogging goals. By the time I publish this post, 5 months have passed since I started blogging. (I published my first blog post on August 3rd)

Hello Me, Myself, and I, We hope you are well. We are writing from 2021. We wanted to let you know that we have made it. Tired, fragmented, and anxious, but we are here. We have carried some things with us into 2021, but there are many things that we had to leave behind us in 2020.

A Letter To Myself
Dearest Michele, If you are reading this then the year is 2021. I know you're scared. Because that was me. I'm writing to tell you that everything is going to be ok. It may not seem like it all the time but I promise things will work out like they do every time.

2021: Breathe in presence, breathe out truth
Dear me, This is a letter that passes through space and time. You are at the end of 2021 and I’m at the start. I don’t know how the year has been for you, what unthinkable things may have happened, all that is now closing for you is all open for me, all that’s behind you is in front of me, like a blank canvas, an improv script, an empty track, with only some guiding prompts from the lessons-learnt during the year that’s just passed.

The Year of Sunshine
Look at you. Look how far you've come. When you first started having these feelings (unease, frustration, being stuck in the wrong place) did you think would ever make it out? When you marry young, sometimes you don’t yet know who you are. Sometimes you feel lucky to be “chosen” and forget to choose yourself. You put up with things that are harmful and you shrug your shoulders because there’s no other option.
