New Years
Life is just a series of questions, challenges and hopefully, resolutions to those questions and challenges. New years resolutions are an odd way to either, stockpile more challenges (which, let's be honest, are not going to be completed), or, for the few who actually practice the art of motivation, (more realistically, those of us who possess a stupidly long list of things we need to complete so if we disguise them as 'New Years Resolutions', then maybe, we'll possibly, get off our asses and do them - once again, not likely), a way to tick off items on a categorised list like someone who's actually got their shit together. Fucken weirdos the 'motivated' lot. They're influencers, people we look up to, people with money to pay people to do that shit for them, or people who must appear like superior fuckwits just so they get paid from our cult-like viewing of their 'motivational' bullshit that we'll never be able to achieve because we have actual lives with actual New Years Resolutions that we'll never complete. Fuckwits.

To My Dearest
I know you yearn for a fresh start. But I also know you want to scrap everything and begin again when something doesn’t go your way. You fight so hard and so long on projects. Then it feels like you snap and all you want to do is to disappear. And sometimes, you do.

Self-Conquering, Passion, and Vision
Hello friends! Welcome back to this journey in which you can discover your hidden potential and pave the pathway to the right career. I had previously discussed the importance on distinguishing between what a “career” entails versus a “job”.

Groceries
A note of truth was heard, Listened to, Cared for, Nurtured. The Truth-Wielder drew their sword, brandished its molten edges in the glimmering luminance of the flickering firelight. Then, the steel came flashing red, searing through the thick, stagnant air, piercing through flesh and bone, burning the frothing, jeering, stench of falsehoods that had wrapped snaking, slimy fingers around the townsfolk’s hearts. Soon, the tavern floor was a mottled carpet of writhing bodies, the air permeated by moans, blackened by the myths that slunk out through the shadows.

For the Time Capsule
Well, I think we can all agree that 2020 was an unprecedented year and, by far, the strangest one yet. A lot of the things I normally look forward to came to crashing halt -- movies, camping trips, concerts and the plans to finally travel somewhere since I have never been on a real vacation before.

How I learned to Be a Killer: Killing Them With Kindness
Kill Them with Kindness The first time I heard the expression kill them with kindness was from a colleague at work. I was lamenting on how a customer had just treated me poorly. I angrily went off for several minutes admonishing the customer. My colleague patiently listened and then turned to look at me directly and said kill them with kindness.

Generous Dealings
Generosity can take many forms but I believe that it rarely becomes tangible. It sometimes appears as if, in my socioeconomic world, there are more calamities and thorns then miracles and roses. Being given anything for free, can at times feel perverse, because everything has a price. Admittedly, I also believe the Universe does reward persons of genuine heart and culture for their efforts, especially in furthering positive thoughts.

Fresh Start ..Looking After Me
MIND,BODY, SPIRIT AND COMMONSENSE I actually quite like me.... I’m a good friend.. I hope a half decent mum of amazing adults a bit of a shonky wife of a quiet genius... but prone to flights of fancy and consuming vast quantities of potato chips and chocolate in all its wonderful forms. This probably isn’t helpful at the best of times. While in a working from home lockdown, it’s positively asking for trouble.

The Little Black Book
THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK By Eric Andrist Wednesday, July 11th My birthday. Today I’m turning 59, the last year of my youth. Oh sure, you might say that being in your 50’s isn’t really being young anymore, but it’s certainly not 60. 60 is when you officially become old enough to say you went to Bingo and won a new crockpot without raising an eyebrow.

Serving the Community Food Line
My inspiration for serving the Foodline organization in Washington State started when I was a teenager. I was a part of a community service program. The community service program I was a part of set-up a day where we all loaded food boxes for the community. At first, I did not notice any feeling of excitement or joy. I realized later that the people receiving the food needed the food, which made me feel great because I helped people in need. After that, I felt that I helped people in need, which made me feel great! Later, over the years, I started to develop a goal that I wanted to have, which was to create a food delivery service that provided food for people in need and brought the food to the people in need. I still have not accomplished that goal; however, I did find an opportunity a while ago to go with a friend down to the local Foodline organization and donate my time to serve the community. The day was fantastic! We got together in a group at the organization and obtained detailed plans of actions for the day. Afterward, we washed our hands thoroughly and went over to the loading area. There were boxes of corn that needed a check for rot and checked for any significant damage, and it was all donated by farmers as sort of the corn surplus runts. There were plenty of other donated items throughout the facility; however, this was our task for the day.
