Short introduction to my mind
Too many words while time doesn’t stop. who am I? An Undefined mess in progress. I got a big list of wants. In my mind, I should have had it by now. Why couldn’t I just have grown up with everything I wanted, and to turn into who I want to be. But if that were to have happened, nothing in my life would be real. It would mean nothing.

The Secret to Manifesting Money
Our world is plentiful. There is plenty of food, plenty of money, plenty of love, joy, and wealth all around us. There is plenty to go around in this world many times over, it is simply distributed unevenly. If you were to take all the money on the entire planet and distribute it evenly to every man, woman, and child- within a few short months-the same "uneven distribution" would surface.

Service
I once worked at a customer service call center for a building products manufacturer. As part of the training process, I received a plant tour and was able to watch the assembly of a ten-and-a-half foot siding tool. It was awe-inspiring to watch them assemble the tool.

11 Highest Compounding Life Habits to Build Your Ideal Self
My mom, a personal trainer for over 30 years, sees clients making the same mistakes every January. They set a large weight loss goal supported by unrealistic outcomes. Before coming to her, they’ve attempted to simultaneously cut calories, triple their weekly workouts, and eliminate alcohol.

The Kindness Revolution
So, here’s the thing. I’ve been a fan of KINDNESS for a long time. I’m a long time believer in the impact of small, seemingly insignificant acts of kindness. I love finding ways to spread kindness. I love hosting “Kindness Challenges”on my Instagram from time to time, encouraging people to intentionally be kind to someone for no reason. In addition, I started an IGTV series called COFFEE+CREATIVITY, where I talk ALOT about kindness and how it can fuel our creativity (while drinking a cup of coffee, of course). A couple of years ago, for my birthday, I hosted a fundraiser for CHARITY:WATER, an amazing organization helping countries across the globe get access to clean water. The event took place at a cycling studio where my friends and I sweated it out while raising money for people to have access to clean water. But recently, I was the recipient of some kindness and it impacted me in a big way: it reminded me of the huge, revolutionary effect a small act of kindness can have. I’ve attached here an episode of my previously mentioned IGTV series where I discuss this stranger’s kindness (start at 0:48)!

Intentionally Random
I still marvel at the wisdom of my mother who trained my siblings and me in the simple life lessons of love, respect, serving others, and fairness. She craftily doled out one of those lessons as my brothers and I stood in the kitchen waiting for a special treat. She removed a freshly baked pan of brownies from the oven and with excitement, we each prepared to perform the task that had been assigned to us. My oldest brother, who was 10 at the time, was assigned the task of “cutter.” My job was to get the serving dishes, my younger brother was tasked with counting out four napkins, and my baby brother had what seemed to be an impossible task for him – sit down and be still. When the brownies were cool enough to handle, my mother put one big piece of brownie on a plate and left us to perform our assigned duties. As the cutter, it was my brother’s task to cut the brownie into four pieces and serve each of us. He sliced three small pieces and put the biggest piece on his plate. Hearing the uproar of injustice that ensued, my mother returned to the kitchen with a life lesson that stuck with me. Placing a new chunk of the still warm brownie on another plate she gave specific instructions to my brother as he prepared, once again, to cut and serve.

Emotional Mirrors
We can’t all have something in common, we all vary in our individual ways. Last year, though, it’s like most people experienced things that changed their life, and changed their personalities. I felt connected to people all around the world, we for the first time in my lifetime, had a worldwide experience. Last year was full of unprecedented changes in my life, most that have led to positive change.

The Greyter Good
Kermit the Frog coined the phrase, “It ain’t easy being green.” I hear you, Kermit. It ain’t easy being grey. In a society designed to pick sides (in a society designed to make you out to be “weak,” “fleeting,” or a “fairweather fan” if you dare to see the both/and), what others deem good can appear relative.

Be, and do it well
Whenever someone starts talking about wellness goals and a healthier lifestyle, my mind autofills the standard droning list: less screen time, eat better, sleep more, save money, etc. etc. My eyes glaze over just thinking about it. We know. We all know what we’re expected to do when January 1st rolls around. And, we all know what happens by January 3rd. It’s hard to overhaul deeply ingrained habits for no reason other than a flip on the calendar and an increase in gym advertisements. Does all this "New Year, New Me" really motivate us to do better or does it just remind us of who we aren’t? True lifestyle changes happen when you actually enjoy what you are doing and when you do it with other people. There has to be a reason for the change other than a number on a scale or a box to check off. Those types of extrinsic motivations simply don’t last long.
