What the Road of Self-Discovery Really Looks Like
You know how you find yourself in these deep, intricate thoughts that feel more like stories you're telling yourself and you have this big aha moment interrupting you mid thought that yells out, " Yoohoo, you should be writing this shit down!"? Honestly, I have those moments all of the time. I dunno know. Maybe it's just me. My brain is literally going constantly. I wish I had some kind of device thing I could implant into my head that would literally transcribe the thoughts that run through my head as they are flowing because whoa, like whoa. Sometimes I can't even catch up to them myself. Trying to go back and recall them to write them down, well, they've already mutated and twisted and turned like a hundred times. If we ever get the chance to become robots, my hand is up y'all! I swear my brain needs some kind of processor or something. That's my little sci-fi wishlist moment... You get used to me, I promise. Or maybe you don't. Maybe you just keep coming back because you find me interesting and entertaining.

Beauty and Usefulness - ways of "seeing" that may help us right now.
Right now many of our lives are rocked by the global challenges Covid has brought to the world, we need a little hope and inspiration in our lives that might otherwise feel as if they are going into freefall. This famous quote keeps coming to mind: “If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” This was written a long time ago by William Morris who was the father of the arts and crafts movement.I am going to substitute “houses” for “ life “ and the quote works just as well and is perhaps even more pertinent and thought provoking.

Try Anything
Sitting on the train for my work commute I dwell on how today is not a good one. Not unusual, it seems every time I work to improve my life something happens to burst my bubble as soon as I feel secure. It is difficult to pick myself up again, I feel like ‘what is the point?’.

Happiness is doing what makes your heart sing
Let’s begin with this… Life isn’t meant to be about fear or pain or suffering. Life is meant to be about love, joy, and happiness. Yet so many of us are sitting in a space in which we are creating more pain and suffering for ourselves. We are making ourselves sad and sick. We are turning our backs on those things that used to bring us so much joy and happiness.

Pandemic Blues
Eliza trudged her way to the mailbox one damp, cloudy, miserable Monday. Three hundred days and counting, the world had been isolated because of the Pandemic of 2020. She and her partner, Matt, had a nice house tucked away on a large lot behind some zoned businesses. They were fairly secluded and had been able to ride out the Covid-19 virus pretty well thus far.

Hug Me Tightly, Recovery Before Romance
Perhaps, I'm impenetrable. I'd like to think that someday, someone out there will find me. Someone who is waiting and wondering where I am. I've nearly given up hope, but something tells me that maybe there is someone for me. I'm still not ready yet. Healing from a decade of desperation, darkness, and devastation has left me disoriented and distant.

No GPS Required in 2021
With the advent of 2021 and the influential effects of 2020 still lingering, the interpretation and experience of my expectations have been altered . . . and probably a little bit damaged. The needle on my perfect-o-meter has been bouncing all over the place and unsettling my universe. I have been forced to stop. And listen. And recalibrate my position in this lively event called life.

How to Set New Year's Resolutions that Actually Work
Every year, we stand in front of a challenge - to make the best out of every day that we've been given, again. To live as we wish to, to do what we want to, as much as we can, as well as we can, to be as aligned to who we truly are as possible and not to have regrets over who we are - who become, what we do, what we choose to invest our energy in and how we live.

Happy, Happier, Happiest
Happiness. One very powerful word. Just saying it evokes an emotion – though it might not be happy. In 2006, Will Smith (read: a great actor) starred in the movie, “The Pursuit of Happyness.” It is based on a true story about a homeless salesman – Chris Gardner, his 5-year old son and how through a series of bad circumstances still manages the pursuit. It’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it. The point is we’re all in pursuit of happiness, though it is more evasive for some. The bigger point is that only we as individuals can make ourselves happy. Sometimes, while we’re pursuing – we lose sight that happiness isn’t a destination – it’s the path we pave.

Book of Dreams
I wish to have $20,000 in one day. That simple sentence was the only thing I can think of to write. The tiny, black book that I found on my doorstep on no particular day had driven my curiosity to this stage. No matter how bizarre my circumstances are, this is the only way to prove if it's real or not.

The Conversation
To this day I am still not quite sure why this internal dialogue picked this exact moment in time to unveil itself to me. Maybe it was just long overdue or maybe it was ignited by the workshop I recently attended on "Creating a Prosperity Vision".
