Introduction

Hello, I'm Letícia, married, mother of two children, and we live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I started writing this ebook during the pandemic, tried to sell it online in Portuguese, but I don't know how to sell... haha, it's really not something quick and easy.

Today I learned that I could become a content creator on Voice Media, so I decided to publish this ebook in English. For sure, this way I'll be able to reach more people and more quickly. I'm glad to have this opportunity.

Starting today, I will share some of my life stories. This way I seek to share my experiences to help the reader understand that life is full of ups and downs, phases, without which it wouldn't be a fulfilling life, rich with lessons.

Often, we think we're not happy, our minds delve into what we believe, and we end up succumbing to our own world of sadness and dissatisfaction, when in reality, we're leaving gratitude out of our lives.

I've learned a lot over these years, and that's what I come to share with all of you. I went through panic syndrome and depression, and without medication, I healed through faith, knowledge, and understanding of life.

Reflecting on my life since childhood, I started to realize that everything I experienced were phases, lessons—some caused by others, others caused by myself because I allowed myself to go through those things. But in all of them, I could draw something good or bad; everything that happens to us has a purpose, and that's what I want to focus on.

Note: These are my experiences, and I don't recommend anyone to stop their treatments for any illnesses they might have. Always maintain your medical treatment and alongside it, seek knowledge.

The truth sets you free.

Dedication

I dedicate this work to God, my creator and Lord. To my parents who have always been by my side, giving me unconditional support, even in the toughest moments when I didn't know where I was getting myself into; they were the ones who provided me with support amidst my emotional storms. I am very grateful for the various pieces of advice received over the years, especially when no one knew that I was going through depression, not even they themselves.

To my husband, who always listened patiently and remained strong, not letting my outbursts bother him.

I dedicate this to my children, who are the reason for my existence on this earth today. For them, I live, and I know they are my anchor.

To my friend Luciana, because over all these years, she has been the only person by my side, even from a distance, listening to my confessions and despair. I hope this book speaks to her heart as well.

To my friend Zenaide, who has always provided support through her messages, even from so far away, making me believe in myself and that I can achieve my dreams.

Lastly, but not least, I dedicate this to every reader who needs to hear my story, to every person who is suffering and feeling pain because life hasn't been easy. There is still hope. I love you all.

I'm grateful to have you here reading my stories, and I hope that through my experiences, I can help many people who are going through the same things I've lived through.

Until the next chapter.
