El Olam. The Alpha and Omega. God’s Love Never Changes

Introduction. Continuing on the theme of God’s names. El Olam — The Everlasting God — Eternal God. The assurance that God, El Olam is ever- lasting and that He never changes.

In a world of snowballing chaos, un-hindered change, heartbreaking poverty. And oh! let us not forget--ever-growing violence. Everywhere you turn, there is hatred and underserved discrimination. A lack of love for Almighty God and His Holy Law. The Ten Commandments are trod underfoot and are spat upon.

God’s Holy Word is questioned and is ridiculed. God Himself is denied and is laughed upon. People say our Lord is either dead or never existed in the first place. The Holy Name of God is used as a curse word. Not as a word Holy and worthy of praise and to be worshiped. What, oh! What is the world coming to???

You need peace and quiet and love in your life. A person to turn to, who is trustworthy and never, never changes. El Olam, the Everlasting God is this, Person. Your eternal God is your reassurance in such turbulent times. God’s very name meaning “eternity” or “everlasting” brings to you a feeling of trust and certainty.

Everything in your life has a due date. From the loaf of bread, you use to prepare lunch. To your life insurance policy. Family and friends come and go. Nothing offers to you a true sense of permanence. El Olam, the Everlasting God, is from eternity to eternity. God has no beginning; He has no end. God will never leave you. El Olam loves you deeply today and He always will.

Scripture Reading: The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. (Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV)

Even though you find it difficult to accept this concept mentally. You can by faith accept El Olam as your everlasting and ever-loving God.

The true divine miracle behind El Olam. The supreme promise that God never changes. God is to be trusted and to be loved. El Olam, the Everlasting God, the God who never changes. Fulfills His divine and loving promise. El Olam brings to you such comfort. You believe deep in your heart. God's promise and His love for you. That, El Olam is always there when needed the most.

In this fast paced and ever-changing society. You feel, at times it is impossible to keep up. Seemingly on a treadmill going nowhere. Your eternal God is a faithful and a deeply loving Father. God’s name, El Olam is devotedly, applied to His promises of love to you. For God is love and El Olam is eternal. Thus, El Olam has forever to lovingly fulfill all His promises to you.

Scripture Readings: I the Lord do not change. So, you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. (Malachi 3:6, NIV)

Trust in the Lord forever,

for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal. (Isaiah 26:4, NIV)

Comfort and peace El Olam grants to you. When you completely trust in God and obey His Holy Law. Having faith and trust in His everlasting character and nature gives you the strength you need. As you sit quietly. And read some of the many texts in God’s Holy Scriptures speaking of His permanence. Once more peace fills your troubled and aching heart. God’s Word brings to you once more assurance of El Olam’s unchanging nature. Such wondrous and reassuring words as Isaiah 40:28, NIV:

Scripture Reading: Do you not know?

Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

and His understanding no one can fathom.

Your trust and faith in El Olam are bolstered by your belief in God’s perfection. For no imperfection is to be found in God Everlasting. So, when through the Holy Word of God, your Lord tells you that He loves you deeply and that He always will. Surely, God loves you with a love so intimate and so pure. This is a truth you can believe in with all your heart.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1, NIV)

When you sit in prayer time with your Heavenly Father. With His Holy Word in hand. Such tender and loving words of El Olam’s promises to keep you safe, to bring you peace and that His love for you never ends. Brings to you the peace and quiet of heart and to your soul you desperately sought. To God you sing your praise and your thanksgiving. Amen!

Praying to God, El Olam. Your Everlasting and Eternal Lord.

When you pray to God, El Olam. You pray “Hallowed be Your Name,” as taught to you by Jesus. By praying to El Olam in this way. You are acknowledging His Holiness and His uniqueness. For no other God besides El Olam, the Everlasting God can claim truly to be eternal.

This, then, is how you should pray:

Our Father in Heaven,

hallowed be Your Name, (Matthew 6:9, NIV)

The following is an example of a prayer to El Olam, the Everlasting God:

Let’s Pray:

El Olam, my Everlasting Father, thank You for loving me beyond measure. You are my refuge, a safe place for me. Help me to comprehend who You are and to trust that You have good plans for my life. Help me in my unbelief and increase my faith. Amen. (Karen O’Reilly, Scriptural Grace Blog)

As you bow your head and usher your prayer to El Olam. You are speaking to your God whose love endures for eternity. For El Olam is the Everlasting God or never changes. Sitting quietly in the steadfast and unconditional love of God. You take comfort in El Olam’s deep and never changing love.

You speak to God confidently in prayer, of your needs and give to Him your thanks. Believing in El Olam and trusting in His promises to you. Confident in God’s purpose in your life according to God’s divine will.

Conclusion. El Olam. The Alpha and Omega. God’s Love Never Changes. El Olam, our God we can rely. God and His love for us is everlasting.
