Every day, I study a lesson from A Course in Miracles, and meditate on it throughout the day, writing down my thoughts in the moments after. Then I gather my thoughts and share them here - to inspire you in your journey.

This is Lesson 104 - I seek but what belongs to me in truth.

I hope that you are blessed by them as much as I am by Him - who speaks through me!

What is placed on an Altar, is altered.

- Marianne Williamson

It's easy to imagine that joy and peace are fantasies. Every message the world delivers to us says they are.

Everything about the world tells us that we are naive and foolish to think otherwise - to hold onto dreams that they could be otherwise.

But joy and peace are not idle dreams. They are your right. They come from God, being his will.

But they will not be welcomed by a mind that has made substitutes for them.

There exists a holy altar within you, placed there by God.

He demands nothing from you. No sacrifice is asked of you, for He already has everything, and has no need of anything.

His altar exists only for His gifts that he gives you.

The question is - what have you placed there?

Hate and anger, conflicts, both internal and external, are the gifts and gods you have made. They are made of illusions - made of nothing.

But so long as you continue to accept them, you leave no place for God's gifts.

His Gifts are Joy and Peace, Happiness and Love. They are real, and they are eternal.

His gifts are before time and after time. There is no need to wait for them for they are timeless. They only await your acceptance.

All you must do is unite your will with God's to recognize unity.

Place your false gods on His altar. Not to worship, but to be washed away, replaced by His gift.

The gift of love.

seek what is yours - by recognizing God's gift.

You knew it once, and you will know it again.

look in that holy place.

stand before His altar.

Joy and peace are there - waiting on your welcome.

Nothing else would be your wish.

Nothing else belongs to you.

Clear the way. His will is done, and joy and peace are yours.

Do not lose sight of them. Seek them where they are eternally.

Say these words today -

I seek but what belongs to me in truth,

And joy and peace are my inheritance.

God's gifts of joy and peace are all I want.

7:15 - God's Gifts

Seek only what belongs to you.

Seek only what is true.

Let joy and peace into your heart.

The gifts God bestows on you.

God's holy altar exists within

Being eternal, living in your core.

His truth, it can be found therein.

Lasting for evermore.

Do not blaspheme this holy place

With false gods that you conceive

Gifts and goals of illusion made

Only real by your belief.

Clear the way, God's Will is Done.

Peace and happiness, they are yours.

Do not lose sight of this eternal truth.

Never allow to be shut that door.

God's holy altar is never lost

In it calm waters shall you wade.

All is yours in the instant that

You know the decision is already made.

---

9.00 - The Holy Place

Joy are peace are yours.

Your divine inheritance.

Your cosmic truth.

Seek them-and they shall be found.

Beyond space.

Beyond time.

Beyond all knowing of good and evil.

Of sorrow and sin.

Of malice and greed.

Of sickness and despair.

Look to that holy place.

That holy altar.

That place of inner knowing where truth is revealed.

Where knowledge is restored.

Where all becomes one.

In that place… you will know what peace is.

In that place… You will know what love is.

In that place… You will know it is what you are.

12:20 - The Greatest Gifts

Joy and Peace and Happiness

These three are but God's greatest gifts

When they are allowed to enter your heart

To God's presence your soul must lift

But they do not stay in that one place

For they will never in one place remain

They spread throughout the entire world

For in nothing will they be contained

Like the pollen from the springtime trees

They fly throughout the air

Spreading of their golden essence

Over all things everywhere

Spread God's Love to all, my child.

Through your words and through your deeds

Look with love on all you see

And know the day comes when all believe

2:10 - How You Will Know

Seeking eternal wisdom

searching for the truth

looking for the mystical knowledge of the ages

the student asks the master -

How will I know?

How will I know my footsteps fall on the path?

How will I know I travel in the right direction?

How will I know that I am moving towards unity?

You will know…

when things are easy

when struggles are over

when joy fills your heart.
