Top 5 testimonies Jesus raised the people

Introduction

Jesus raised people from their graves. In fact, he did it so often that it became common knowledge in His day that He had the power to bring back the dead. Here are five of the most famous testimonies that attest to Jesus' ability:

The widow's son.

The story of the widow’s son.

The widow’s son was raised from the dead.

Jesus raised him from the dead in Bethany, near Jerusalem.

The centurion's servant.

The centurion's servant was sick, and the centurion came to Jesus. Jesus healed the servant, and then asked him to come back again soon.

The next day, when they met again at Jesus' house, there were many people in attendance—all who had been healed by Christ. And those who believed in him were amazed at what had happened to them (Matt 8:13-14).

The man born blind.

Jesus then asked the man to see. Again, he told him that if he could see with his eyes, he should go and wash in the Pool of Siloam. The man did as told and was healed of his blindness!

Jesus showed us how to be faithful servants in our daily lives. He raised the people from their graves by giving them life again through His power and grace (John 5:28-30).

The woman at the well.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus encountered a woman at a well who had been married seven times. She was not an adulteress, but she had asked Jesus to tell her if she would ever get married again. When he responded that he did not know her future, she became upset with him and said: "You’re wrong! I am no longer worthy to be called your disciple because you do not know my heart or where I come from."

Jesus then told her: "Go back home and tell [your] husband/wife that they should take care of themselves; otherwise I will ask them to pick up their belongings and leave this place immediately." The woman returned home empty-handed after several days because there were no men available at all nearby who could marry her.

After being rejected by all men in town (with some exceptions), she went back out into the streets where everyone else avoided due to fear of being arrested for practicing witchcraft or sorcery—a common accusation against those who escaped such laws before their time ended upon death during World War II when all male members died off except for one man who lived alone on an island somewhere far away from civilization (he wasn’t allowed access until after WWII ended).

Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha, who was raised from the dead by Jesus.

Jesus raised the centurion's servant from his grave where he was being held captive by Satan for 40 years (Mark 5:22-43)

Jesus is the one who raises us from death to life.

Raise the dead.

Heal the sick.

Cast out demons.

Raise up a young man named Elisha from death to life (2 Kings 4:26-29). As you read this story, think about how many times we are called upon to raise up those who have been brought low by circumstances or others’ failure or sinfulness, whether it's our own errors or those of others around us.* The Bible says that God can do anything—including raising someone from death (1 Corinthians 15:18).

Jesus raised the dead

Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

Jesus raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead.

Jesus raised Elisabeth's son from the dead, who was sick for 38 years (Luke 7:12–17).

Jesus healed the sick

Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead.

Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons, caused someone to walk in his shadow for 40 days and raised up Elisha from death to life.

Jesus cast out demons

Jesus cast out demons. That's right, this is real life. Demons can be real and they can actually possess people. They are not always cast out of people though so don't worry if you think that everything is fine and dandy now that they've been "delivered."

The truth is that Jesus Christ is the only one who has authority over these spirits, which makes him more powerful than any human being on earth (John 14:30). He has power over all things including death itself! So when he says something like "do not fear" or "be of good cheer," it means exactly what it says: don't fear death because there's nothing to fear from God's perspective; instead let his love fill your heart completely so nothing else matters except loving Him back with all your heart!

Jesus raised up a young man named Elisha from death to life.

Elisha was a young man who died, but Jesus raised him from death to life. He was not only raised from the dead but also brought back to life in order to continue his ministry as a prophet.

Jesus' power over sin and sickness is amazing: He took an illness away from a woman named Naaman; he healed an invalid boy named Bartimaeus (Luke 5:17); he walked on water at Gennesaret (Matthew 14:28).

Jesus raised up three men named Lazarus, Zacchaeus, and Simon.

Jesus raised up Lazarus from death to life.

Zacchaeus was raised from death to life.

Simon was raised from death to life

Jesus caused someone to walk in his shadow for 40 days.

Jesus was able to cause someone to walk in his shadow for 40 days. This happened when Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem, and he met a man named Bartimaeus who had been born blind from birth. Bartimaeus begged Jesus for mercy, saying, “Son of David! Have pity on me!”

Jesus asked him what his problem was, and Bartimaeus told him that he had prayed so many times that God would heal him. Then they walked along together until they came near where all of Jerusalem's nobility were gathered together (John 9:1). As they approached the crowd, everyone stared at them because they were walking down the street while holding hands like two normal people would do if they didn't know each other very well yet!

Jesus is the one who raises us from death to life.

Jesus is the one who raised us from death to life.

Jesus is the one who raised us from sin to righteousness.

Jesus is the one who raised us from the dead, so that we could live forever in his presence and with him forevermore.

Jesus also raised our sicknesses and troubles from within us (2 Cor 4:17).

Conclusion

We can’t overlook the fact that Jesus was raised from death, and in so doing He also raised us from death. All of us are dead because we are separated from God by our sin, but Christ came to give us life so that we might have eternal life with the Creator of all things. He has done for us what no one else could do—He has healed our bodies and given us new life.

In the end, Jesus raised people from their graves. He showed us that we can trust Him and live a new life. God is able to do this because He is all powerful and knows what's best for us!
