The first time I ever heard about astral projection was from a guy I dated over a decade ago. He told me about how a greenish blue man guided him through the astral realm. I don't remember many specifics of his experience, but I do distinctly remember thinking he was nuts.

Why Meditation Is Most Important In Our Daily Life
The complex advantages of reflection and how to get into a daily schedule It is said, as per Vedic insight that the vast majority of our day to day routines are experienced to us. In his book, The Greatness of Saturn, Robert E. Svoboda clarifies this thought through the straightforward experience of eating a mango. He expounds on how while us all might settle on the depiction of a mango through its smell, taste and shading, when the mango enters you, the inside experience becomes special to you. It is actually the case that a solitary idea is the seed that makes each actual structure and experience-a reality that the majority of our old sages and researchers comprehended. Furthermore this is by and large where contemplation comes in-which empowers us to look inwards, concentrate and interface with our higher self. Along these lines, as we end up near the very edge of another year, here's the reason you really want to focus on intercession as a day by day practice.

Fail Proof Meditation For Beginners
My concentration is shot. I can walk from one room to another and forgot why I walked into the room. Sometimes it comes back to me in a moment, sometimes not. Cognitive scientists say these brain freezes and are common and not necessarily a sign of Alzheimer's or dementia. While that information is comforting I am finding it harder and harder to stay focused on any task.

How to Meditate Like a Pro
Since I started to give more importance to my mental health and how to take care not only of my body but my mind as well, I noticed that almost everywhere I looked there was talk about meditation. Until a few years ago, I believed that meditation was purely spiritual or religious, and therefore I never really learned about its uses and benefits. I used to think that it was a practice for only a select group of the population, those capable of silencing the voices in their head. Being someone highly anxious, I didn’t think it possible to silence the voices in mine that only seem to scream AAAAHHHHHHHHHH until I go to sleep. So I gave up on meditation before even trying.

How To Practice Meditation
Meditation is the most important practice for calming the mind. A calm mind can lead to a healthy, happy and successful life. It can cure diseases and speed up healing processes. We describe the simple technique below called prana-dharana. Prana in Sanskrit stands for the air that we breathe. It is the most basic act of life which starts from birth and goes on till death. But generally, we are not aware of the breath till our attention is drawn close to it. Dharana means its awareness. Prana-dharana means applying the mind to the flow of air when we breathe. The method is as described below: Sit in a posture suitable for meditation. The common postures are Siddhasana, Padmasana and Swastikasana. But if you cannot do this, just sit cross-legged. Your back should be straight and eyes closed. Your knees should be placed well on the ground. Do not stoop your shoulders back. The whole body should be relaxed and the whole frame steady without exerting any pull or pressure on the thighs, feet, knees, spine or neck. There should be no stretch on tension along the abdominal wall. Let the abdominal wall sway gently back and forth very smoothly and effortlessly with each respiration. Facial muscles should be relaxed and mouth closed with a small gap between the two jaws such that the upper and lower teeth do not exert pressure on each other. Your tongue should touch the palate with tip touching the back of the upper front teeth. Ensure that the lips, tongue or the lower jaws do not move. Your eyeballs and eyelids should be steady and the muscles of the forehead relaxed. Your entire posture should be comfortable, steady and relaxed. You should not feel strain on any part of the body. Now start developing the awareness of breathing. The flow of air should be uniform, slow and smooth. Do not make any effort or exercise any control. Never hold breath. Do not utter any word or see any image. This will calm your mind and help you achievpeace e How to remain young forever? How to defy your age? How to retain the youthful joy? How to remain passionate and energetic. Here I outline six steps to keep you young forever – steps, if you follow regularly will ensure you remain young at heart, young in mind, and young in your body. Step One: Imagine yourself leading a life that is youthful and vigorous. Picture yourself in various situations that the young indulge in. It can be a wild night in the disco, a wild game of football, romancing with the person you love – it can be anything. Just concentrate yourself in youthful action. Step Two: The picture you create for yourself should produce the specific effects that you have in your mind. That is, if you think you are becoming old and falling behind times, then enjoy a dance in the disco that keeps you up with time with youthfulness. If you are old and wrinkled and want to look young, picture yourself with smooth, supple, wrinkle-free skin. Step Three: Picture yourself as extremely alert, athletic and youthful. Imagine yourself in movements that you performed as freely as when you were a teenager. This is a very important visual. Practice it at least twice a week for an indefinite period. Your aim is to preserve your body by using the power of creative visualization. Thus, this is a lifetime program aimed to evoke your youthful vigor always, anytime, anywhere. Step Four: If you are suffering from any old-age disease, incorporate the visuals from How to lead a healthy life, with the steps outlined here. You will see a marked improvement in your health. Step Five: Bring together all your senses – Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch. Direct your mind to improve each of them. Imagine yourself pictures of yourself where you hear more, taste better, see well, smell proper and become sensual to touch. Practice them at least once every two days. You will see your awareness is functioning better than all who are of your age. Step Six: Visualize yourself in a sea of endless energy. The water is warm and comfortable. The sky is bright and sunny. Swim through the refreshing water. Enjoy the swim. Stretch your legs; push through the water, as the energy envelops youpeace

Dhyāna: The Importance of Meditation
Yoga and meditation have been a prominent influence in my life for as long as I can remember. When my sister and I were growing up together, my mother would take time out of our day to get us to meditate and do yoga with her. This would not come easy with little girls who loved to play pretend. The child that I was had more interest in faster movement, such as dance, but my mother’s words always stuck with me. I wasn’t the most obedient child. Nevertheless, I was much easier to handle than many kids, for my mother listens to my emotions while giving space to encourage discipline. Meditating was a way for me to clear my thoughts and create a sense of calm that was typically hard to find in a child experiencing life for the first time. Along with my mother, my interest in meditation took flight from growing up watching Avatar: The Last Airbender expedited my desire to understand meditation outside of daily practice. When my interest for yoga and meditation took hold, my mother took notice and enrolled me in martial arts courses so that I could practice more discipline and calm energy. My mind was an empty glass being filled with various new perspectives.
