Struggling To See The Light

Ray Of Hope

Sometimes, I wonder why I make the decisions I do. I can guide others to success, but suffer from my own mistakes or wrong decisions. How can you not make mistakes to keep yourself afloat mentally, fiscally and physically? How do you keep yourself from fake friends or people that say, “I got you”. They smile and say your best interests are at heart, but it is not you they care about. Be weary of those who smile in front of you to only satisfy the given moment, all the while, seemingly, at a moment's notice, carefully plot your demise and their own raising to the throne of success. When you are looking at the finish line, they disappear from the trenches and all you see is a mist, a fog. Like a ghost in the night, they disappear and you are left to your own devise.

In The Midst of Mist

I have never needed to ask for a favor from any friends in which I had already done something for and I am thankful for that. But, I realized that some “friends” are just hanging around to pump you up and leave you high and dry, while they live a life of luxury. When something like this happens, the best thing to do is dust yourself off and leave the friendship behind as these folks will only leave you with empty pockets and false promises. How will your focus and drive be without those people whom you thought you could depend on? Will you still lean into them and seek their advice or listen to their nonsense. Or, will you rise up and eliminate their misguided voice and keep focused on the straight and narrow? The ray of hope will be your guiding light and maybe that is all you need.

We all have moments of frustration and weakness, but it is how we continue on and stay alive inside and out, that we find out who we really are and who we have become. You may be left with no one to turn to but a family member or spouse, but trust me, that is all you need. If your failures of a so-called friend, fail you, move on and prosper. Everyday just focus on 1 small thing at a time. The concept sounds simple, but it isn’t as easy as it always looks. Distractions are everywhere nowadays. Eventually, take the leap and go abroad. It will be the best decision you have ever made.

I recommend a little research and due diligence, which I or my team can help with ([email protected]). After doing so, you can make the next part of your life more than your wildest dreams could ever imagine. I have known people to contemplate for nearly a decade in making their decision on moving abroad. With our combined research efforts, you could live happily on next to nothing and feel more free than you ever have back home. There is also nothing wrong with trying out several locations before you find the right fit. There is no wrong answer, it is what suits you and only you.

Make the journey. Open your mind to the unknown. Avoid the tourist thing and build your own path. It is okay not knowing what to expect, I have become accustomed to it and it has become the norm. It is funny how your priorities in life will change and your mindset will change with it. I wish you the best in your future travels and wish upon you that you have that little ray of hope that will get you through to the next chapter in your life.
