Are you thinking my husband doesn't want to have sex, and wondering why that is? Well you're certainly not alone. This actually happens quite often. Many wives go through this. But one of the huge mistakes that a lot will make is automatically assuming that their husband is out fooling around. Making this assumption without really knowing for sure can do nothing but cause more problems, possibly even ruining the marriage entirely.

The thing is that there are any number of reasons that your husband doesn't want sex. Of course the common belief is that a man will have sex at the drop of a dime, and for the most part that's pretty true. But there are certainly things that can get in the way of that, and in a marriage there are certainly plenty of instances where these situations can arise.

Here are 3 Reasons Why Your Husband Doesn't Want to Have Sex...

Reason #1: Physical Sexual Problem... Your husband may be having a little trouble down there and is embarrassed to mention it or talk about to either you or his doctor. Listen, we're guys, and that's our thing. We don't want to admit that our equipment isn't working properly, so we avoid the situation.

It's even embarrassing with your wife believe it or not. And even if you feel like you guys tell each other everything, some things we just don't like to talk about or admit and that's one of them. The other is that "The Notebook" is actually a pretty good movie. LOL

Reason #2: Something Is Bothering Him on an Emotional Level... This can be any number of things. It could be something outside of the marriage like overall stress, but it could also very well be something within the marriage.

Here's the thing, there's likely some other issues going on in your marriage if this is happening and it's not physical. You have to dig in a bit, and figure out what that might be. It may not be that hard to figure out, especially if you guys are arguing every day, or whatever. Usually marriage problems will be the main culprit if it's not a physical problem. If you're in a position where your saying my husband doesn't want to have sex with me, then there's a good chance that your husband has something bothering him.

You can try to talk it over with him, but the chances are that it's not going to go over well. But you SHOULD start doing some soul searching and figuring out what's wrong in your marriage, and how can this be fixed, and take steps to fix them, even if you're doing this on your own. There are some (very few however) great guides to fixing a marriage even if you have to do it on your own.

Reason #3: Your Missing the Key Ingredient of Marriage... Ok, so you're used to hearing and thinking that only a woman needs PASSION in their marriage to be able to make love right?

Well, nothing could be further than the truth. You can think of Passion in your marriage as the same thing that connected you and your husband in the first place. It's that excitement that you feel when you're all fluttery after than first date. But what happens after marriage is that life gets in the way, and suddenly the passion is gone, and here you are wondering why my husband doesn't want to have sex.

So it's time to reignite that passion. And as mundane and boring as it may sound at this point you have to plan out time for passion and excitement. Date nights are a good start. Lunch time quickies etc. You know the drill.

How To Have Better Sex With Your Husband

We all know that sex is a very important part of any marriage. Knowing how to keep things hot for the both of you will take you to places you've never been before. Above all else, however, always remember that sex can be incredible if you are in love. Take the time to remember the romantic things you and your husband used to do for each other. Always keep in mind how much you love him. Inviting him out for a date can revive those early-relationship feelings and can even lead to great sex tonight.

To lend even more excitement for you and your husband, dress up in a sexy outfit that makes you feel great and that you know he'd enjoy, and don't let him see it until you are ready to go out. This can help to bring back memories of when you first got together and all was still fresh and exciting. Kick it up a notch by wearing sexy lingerie underneath your outfit; if you've got the house to yourselves, wear the lingerie for when he comes home from work; that will definitely give him a nice surprise!

If you plan on having your date at home, tidy up your house and set up the dinner table with candles. Prepare a lighter meal for the both of you so that if the mood strikes, you won't be worrying about a full stomach. By creating this mood, you can induce a wave of nostalgia of your first date together; and contrary to what a lot of people think, men can be wooed like women can be. Let him be reminded of how the two of you started out, how easily you turned each other on without being anywhere near the bedroom. Creating this special mood and making an effort to have great sex is a sure way to make the bond between you and your husband stronger, helping to make the marriage last.

Don't just save the preparations for the dining room, make your bedroom a relaxing, comfortable place for you and your partner. Tidy up the clutter and remove distracting items. Change the sheets from your everyday cotton ones to silk or satin sheets and place candles in safe containers all around the room.

Pick the perfect time. It's not simply a matter of making time for sex; pinpoint the days and specific hours when you are more likely to have high energy levels and achieve orgasms more readily. Research has found that some women have better, more frequent orgasms during days 6 to 10 of their menstrual cycle (the first day being the first day of a period), which can absolutely help the both of you have a better experience during sex. The exact time of day doesn't really make a difference as the sex hormones are fairly consistent over the course of a day; however, just make sure you aren't too tired.

You can also purchase some toys to try out, and lubricant is a definite must-have. Make use of strawberries, chocolates and whipped cream if the mood strikes. Adult movies can also be watched, perhaps giving you ideas of things you might like to try.

Your spouse will be very pleased to see how much work you have put in to create such a special night for the two of you. He might even be so impressed that thinking of how much work you've done will act as a sort of foreplay for him. This night will more than likely be a memorable one and will help to continue strengthening the relationship between you and your husband.

Thinking about regaining the status of "Happily Married"? It is possible, and is not difficult if you think it is not. But exactly how you do so?
