There are millions of educational institutions across the globe, with hundreds of students every year placed in reputed firms with eye-catching packages. Then, why is the present younger lot unhappy and discontented? Several data show that youths are suffering from several mental health issues. The education system which is responsible to build the moral character in individuals has disastrously failed and, as a result, the youth’s perception and approach towards life have lost its control. The Hegemonic eco-system has been regularly bypassing our consciousness, with uninvited thoughts and ideas. With a rise in depression and suicide rates, it is very important to identify the positive forces and mechanisms which would help to build a healthy society.

Meditation is a proven and tangible solution to all mental issues, yet legitimately stifled by the market forces for personal gains and motives. Meditation is the only value-added solution to all daily problems. With a historical significance, meditation is a scientifically approved route to better mental health and its positive effects are felt in several types of research conducted across the globe. Surprisingly, health expertise seldom prescribes meditation as one of the means to enhance the mental health of the patients. Meditation caters to both physical and mental well-being, a basic parameter for the complete health of an individual. We have foods that can upset the human digestive and, on the other side, we have nutritionists to promote the drugs to heal the system.

After the COVID pandemic, people's inclination towards meditation has increased, and particularly the youth sect is attracted to its positive traits. Things don't work well if your body and mind aren't in our control. No academics teach us self-management; therefore, we need to make up our minds and consider meditation mandatory in our daily life.
