The card of the Day is….

The two of cups reversed is the main theme of the day. But what is influencing this reversal is the eight of cups reversed, and the three of cups in the upright. Let’s get into the meaning and interpretation for today.

Firstly, let’s talk about why the two of cups is in reverse, this is talking about disconnection, but what kind of disconnected energy? This is where we have disconnected from ourself and others. But not only that, we are not honoring our higher-self and our authentic selves. See when we listen to our higher selves we know what we want, and desire from others. We know who want to be, and how we want to live.

We are comfortable with our partnerships every changing and adapting. But when this card is reversed this is a reflection of the inner work that we need to do for ourselves with our emotions. So we can connect back to others and not the illusion of how we wish situations and people to be. When we do that we can then honor our emotions and others as well from a space of love.

The two cups reversed indicates partnerships are being influenced by negative energy. This is a partnership with a major impact to ones life, could be a friend, business partner, client, investor, roommate, lover, or even a family member who is allowing some type of negative influence to over rule them. Here is where we have to address that someone in this dynamic is not looking out for our best interest. There could also be news of people who have ties us that want to put you in the middle of their battle when they need to work out their feelings for themselves. Followed by the eight of cups reversed and the three of cups upright this would suggest someone wants to come back to us and make a communication reconnection.

This person who wants to reconnect could have been solo for some time. Now their personal journey has changed them completely into a new person from the old version of themselves that you knew from a social group you were in or relationship you were in. We need to look at how the negative energy was given power and why did this happen? What was the emotional response behind it? What has it done to you to cause this disconnection on your end and what did you do to cause this negative energy to fester? Same would be said for the other person.

But with the eight of cups reversed this is saying that we are not walking away from what no longer serves us. We are still carrying our hurts and feelings around with us as we wonder on trying to make sense of all of this mess of emotions around us. The number eight is about a connection to or divinity and specifically out kundalini energy. But this energy is focusing on the Kundalini defending into our throat charka, our heart charka, and our third eye charka. But the card of day is about learning to stop moving and create long-term growth. Spiritual growth is an important part of our lives but it cannot take over our lives everyday for then we will find nothing we have to plant our roots in the spiritual soil in order for it to take root and grow the other part of our lives. If you are looking for work, this card is a warning because you will be quitting your job early. If you are looking to change careers today is not the day for that because we have to look at several factors. Economy of the times, social unrest right now, and covid-19 is causing a lot of heavy stagnation in how we move in our career today. But we can at lease look into new ideas of a career. While you may need to change your career I would suggest you look at another industry first. One that blends your hobbies with the current profession you are in. Or one that highlights on the job skills you do have with a hobby or passion you love to do. For those of you looking for new work, this indication you are looking for a job that does not feel like work or you are on the job and it is totally fun.

Make sure that with anything you act on your conscious, and not your emotions. It is ok to express your emotions but again we must refrain from acting on them. Choices should not be based on emotional responses, especially with the three of cups. The reason for this is because this talks about having a great time in your social groups but being aware of your participation in what you are bring to the groups. Also be conscious on what you act on with your emotions. For example there is nothing wrong with peaceful protesting, but looting small business who have no stake in any social injustice is where we have to ask ourselves are we adding to the chaos around us? The same could be said for someone who calls for violent ends to peaceful protesters? Again adding to chaos and emotional upheaval.

Remember what you do unto others, will be done unto you. If you act with disconnection within your heart from the two cups reversed energy. It can and will be reflected back to you.

The three of cusps though does have a positives side, it does speaks about our emotional connections through social groups. In doing so, it can indicate the growing of bonds with others, enjoying the playful energy of our emotions and being around the ones we love. Joyful times, or going to party that is a delight. Lastly, enjoying ones self yes, but enjoying the company of others.

Catching up with old friends or growing our friendships now matter the status to use and we are doing so in healthy ways. We need to make time for enjoying our lives with our friends, family and lovers during these days and times. But being stuck at home and not being able to enjoy our money or having little to no money can make us feel limited or restricted in how we have fun. We need to remember how we have fun is all in what we focus on and who we are with. Put your energy to love and love will come back to you.
