Ever since the beginning of 2020, we were all wishing for this one thing : "Ending the pandemic"

Now, technically, the pandemic has not reached an end yet. We still can't be sure if and when the Corona-virus pandemic would end. Right?

But governments across the world had started to go easy on the lockdowns because of the economic problems across the world.

Are we ready for the post lockdown world?

THE NEW NORMAL:

Even though there are so many relaxations in the lockdown measures to keep down the infections, there are still going to be some significant changes in the way the world works

Gatherings will not be encouraged, schools and universities would not function normally and every time we step out, we have a risk of infection because let's face it, the virus is out there more than ever!

The Indian government made 90% relaxations across the country, exactly on the day it reported 80,000 cases.

Can you just begin to digest that number? Governments are running out of funds. We are at the lowest point ever in modern human history and this is the new normal.

Are you prepared to face this world where people are barely surviving paycheck to paycheck and the mighty secure government jobs have just become insecure?

HERD IMMUNITY:

As much as we hate the "new normal" of our world, there is some good news.

What is the one thing that took us from being a cell of live multiplying to survive to this complex intelligent beings? Evolution!

Even if we don't find a way to create a vaccine, our body would soon start to adapt and evolve in a way that COVID 19 virus wouldn't affect us!

Yes, doctors call this herd immunity and with time we will be naturally immune to this virus. But that of course involves some casualties along the way

So is herd immunity the only thing we could hope for other than a handy vaccine?

SOCIETY:

More than anything, there will be a change in our society before all this ends. People are more emotional and anxious than ever before.

With the fear of survival and getting infected holding us by our throat and the feeling of inadequacy to satisfy our personal and emotional needs and the fear of not being able to pay the medical bills, we tend to change.

Crime rates are already increasing. With schools and colleges operating online, the quality of education goes down as well.

People spend a lot of time alone which again breaks the balance and makes them more vulnerable to their own feelings.

So, we are all on the edge and waiting for the fix. Are you ready to face the new society?

FINALLY:

EDUCATION AND TRAVEL:

These are the two sectors that will be affected until the pandemic completely ends. The lack of a proper physical educational institution would affect the minds of kids under the age of 16.

Study abroad industry is hard hit with less international enrollments. And with these GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT exams being postponed, it's totally uncertain when people would get to pursue their dreams. Travelling for leisure and fun has been stopped completely.

There are millions of people in these sectors who are unemployed right now hoping to get a job with a paycheck!

In such times of crisis, we need to stick together and help each other up! So get yourself prepared and ready for the post lockdown world! We need to spread love and hope more than anything else right now!

Hope this article helped!
