On the Long Island, it's another beautiful day, and after I've finished writing this to you, I'm going to a client and running some errands. Thursdays seem to be a little more relaxed, unlike the past few nonstop, hectic days, so I'm glad I can take a step back and decompress a little before things go back to being nuts tomorrow.

Now, while on your weight loss journey, I just did a Facebook Live Training in the Permanent Weight Loss Community on three steps to clear nutrition! First off, if you're not in it yet, is Hell Wrong Witched?!

Food for weight loss here is summed up in three basic steps:

1. To any nutritional choice you make, apply THE sentence!

What's the word? "Eat meats, vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruits, little starch and no sugar (added)." Keep your food organic as much as possible, eat those raw nuts and seeds, keep the fruits you eat between 0-49 glycemic index rating, and avoid processed foods. If this sentence can be extended to any dietary choice you make, then you'll be in great shape!

2. Feed when hungry, ONLY!

We prefer to assume that we have to eat three square meals a day, plus or minus a few snacks in each meal. Huh! Nonsense! If you feel like that's what you need to do, then your body is most likely in a state of glucosis and can not most efficiently optimize its energy production. 3. Feed for happiness purpose, NOT to stuff your face!

We have one binge-eating celebration every year here in the States, and it's coming: Thanksgiving! It's not unusual for Americans on this holiday to eat to the point that they have to unbuckle their pants when all is said and done...

If you think about any wild animals, then think about whether they have food in abundance all the time or not. They don't, for the most part! When environmental conditions are suitable, they have to either graze or hunt. There will be days of feasting, but there will also be days of famine. Before the winter months (if there was such a thing in their part of the world!), it was not unusual for our ancestors to fatten up because they knew that food would be scarce once the animals went into hibernation, the weather got colder, and the vegetation was not nearly as plentiful as it was during the warmer months.

We have been conditioned to think about calories and servings so much that we fail to remember we have a perfect barometer for how much we can eat: our bodies! Listen to your body, because you are good to go until the hunger, the irritability, and the lack of energy subside. Julius Caesar, you are not, so don't feel the need to eat like him.
