Nature Provides!

I would like to start this article with the question, "Why do we get sick," which was recently posed by the contemporary, Dr. Sebi.

While I cannot agree with every aspect of some of his more profound claims when it comes to certain foods I can see the validity of the vast majority coupling this with, what I feel, is his honest effort to help his fellowman I cannot and will not attempt in the least to take away from his legacy.

Foreword

The following article will be fast paced. Which is to say we shall swiftly travel through the majority of it, stopping only upon the precipice of most items to build only a foundation of medial insights before we dive into that with which we have to do with in this article. It is not the intent of the author to hold the hand of the reader for time will not allow for that within the constructs of a single article with such a far reaching applications. Suffice it to say that the author is merely bringing to the readers awareness so that the reader, whether by genuine interest or for the interest of rebutting the article and its author, will dive headlong into their own research and thereby become empowered with the knowledge of self.

Why do we get sick?

For the purpose of this article we will state that sickness is due to the body system, any one or combination of system, falls out of a homeostatic balance. This imbalance produces reactions within the body bring an awareness that the body is in some phase of dis-ease, or disease. However, the word dis-ease should not be convoluted with the popular form of the word as in a way disease, but more simply to infer that the systems of the body are in some form, however minute, of dis-ease or, if you prefer, discomfort. In summation, we get sick as a means of our body informing us that it requires some sort of attention.

Dis-ease Factors

Below we will look into two main factors of dis-ease. While these may or may not be the only factors for dis-ease of the body systems, they are the most common.

1. Environmental

Since the industrial age man has attempted to balance productivity and his advancement with factors that would endanger his health and well-being. This balance has seem to given way, in recent years, to the greed of for the dollar. Even the most remedial of investigations can show the plethora of contaminants, carcinogens and other non savory chemicals that the human body is attacked with on a daily basis. While the EPA does what it can to protect the environment, and by extension us, from these pollutants be aware that any pollutant is just that: a pollutant. One way of protecting one's self from this onslaught is with the proper use of iodine which coats and protects the glands from attack, primarily the Thyroid gland, from environmental attacks. However, this is mainly reserved for extreme cases, such as, first responders, EMS, fire/rescue and police, who are the first to arrive on an incidence of a major environmental, chemical, nuclear or biological attack. It is this group of causes that are, for the most part, extreme, likely to never happen and are out of our control. So we will now turn our attention to that which we can more readily control.

2. Diet

The diet is, in most cases, how we can heal. There will be those that will scoff at this claim and to those individuals I can only ask that they do their own research into where pharmaceuticals have their base in, a majority of the time their base is in herbology (plant medicine). With that being established we shall look it below.

When we become sick it is due to either the body being attacked from an outside source or it comes from a mineral/vitamin/nutrient deficit; an imbalance or the deficit within the body has been there for sometime it can progress into a dis-ease of the system. One may ask, "How can I know that my body is starving for a nutrient?" One way the body lets us know, and the first sign, is that we start to crave a food. To explain let me ask how many of us have ever had a day where no matter how much we eat you just can't get full or satisfied? I'm sure mostly everyone has experienced this from time to time and if you haven't noticed it I can only suggest to pay closer attention to yourself. When this happens, if you have ample access to food and not suffering true hunger, it is due to the fact that you have not satisfied the bodies need for a nutrient. Let me say here that with the American diet, as it is is full of little nuances, creates a pseudo effect of craving, such as sugars, table salts and sweets in general. These are not the cravings we are speaking of in this article. However, if you find yourself craving salt it could be an iodine deficiency, if you cannot get full perhaps you are not getting enough protein, just for couple of examples.

The Herbs Are for the Healing...

In summation I will end this article with:

"The 7 Healing Herbs"

  1. Cayenne Pepper (capsaicin): Cardiovascular, Arthritis, Pain Relief
  2. Garlic (Allium): Sulphur, Manganese, Copper
  3. Apple Cider (ACV): Regulated Blood Sugar, Lowers Cholesterol
  4. Bentonite Clay (Montmorillonite clay): Detoxifier
  5. Olive Oil (Olea europaea): Helps Eliminate Kidney Stones, Prevents Alzheimer’s, Helps Prevent Diabetes
  6. Lemon (Citrus limon): Detoxifier, Copper, Zinc
  7. Sea Salt (salt): Regulates Blood Sugar, Relief from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Treats Acne

These are not all of the medicinal herbs and for those listed these are not all the claimed benefits. The author only wishes to impress upon the reader that there are alternatives that you could talk to your doctor about and never add, change, or discontinue any treatments without contacting your doctor.

Note: These claims have not been wholly proven or accepted by the FDA.
