The consumption of green tea is popular all over the world and is also very common in Pakistan. According to research, green tea is very beneficial for dieters. For those people who use green tea in their daily diet, their health becomes enviable. It also resists food poisoning and plaque-causing bacteria. Hot green tea burns calories while iced green tea gives a cooling sensation in the summer season. According to experts, green tea helps reduce obesity through metabolic action. The people facing the problem of obesity can be relieved from the regular use of green tea. Green tea contains caffeine that increases body efficiency.

The official origin of green tea is China, i.e. the discovery of green tea or coffee is attributed to Kashera, a Chinese emperor, who added a few leaves of the tea plant to hot water to change the taste of plain water. This new flavor was well received by all. In the past, it was used only by the royal family. But now it has become there are amazing benefits of green tea which are as follows.

Another study found that women who were using regular green tea were likely less breast cancer, while another US study found it to reduce the 30% risk of colon cancer.

In green tea, flavonoids and antioxidants have a high quantity that can reduce the effects of bad cholesterol, prevent blood clots and improve arterial function. Similarly, green tea is also helpful in reducing cholesterol and artery blockage. Those who drink one to two cups of green tea daily reduce the risk of narrowing of the arteries by 45 percent.

3. Great for joint pain

Start drinking four cups of green tea daily to prevent itching and pain. A study by the Western Reserve University of the United States has shown that green tea contains a chemical compound that acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, reducing the risk of joint disease by 60% compared to those who avoid tea.

4. Increase mental abilities

Researchers from the Netherlands have confirmed in a recent study that the two components of green tea, theanine, and caffeine, significantly increase attention and alertness levels. Compared to other energy drinks, the consumption of green tea is less likely to cause nervous tension and conditions like depression because it contains very little caffeine. According to another study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, daily A cup of green tea reduces the risk of cognitive decline in people over 55 years of age.

According to a study, quercetin, an antioxidant in green tea, binds to substances in mast cells that cause allergic reactions (asthma medications also do). Consuming two cups of green tea daily can be beneficial in keeping asthma symptoms at bay.

10. Reduce mental stress

Green tea is low in caffeine and consuming as little as five servings can potentially reduce psychological stress. This was revealed in a recent study at a university in Japan. Researchers have not been able to identify any specific component for this, but during experiments on animals, it was revealed that this drink reduces the amount of stress-causing chemicals in the body.
